First one to watch! 😜
🤪thanks mom!
🙋👍❤🍀⭐
You have become one of my favorite channels. Love watching you guys fix up your home. You both are such a good team and its refreshing to see that in this day and age. Love all the planting choices. Well done guys👌💕
Thank you!!
The scraggly bushes look like azaleas - do not trim right now - you'll trim off next year's blooms. When I lived in Florida, we learned (the hard way) not to trim azaleas after May 1st or no blooms next spring! The plantings look great, just water, water, water that gardenia. Also, be careful in planting some things too close to house/lanai - as they grow bushier will push against house/screen. Can't wait to see the gender reveal!!! Your home is beautiful, inside and out!
It looks beautiful! Don't beat yourself up about *not getting everything done in a hurry; it takes time to figure out what feels right. Plus, you had your house painted :) You both are such hard workers - I admire you.
Florida resident here . Water water water all those plants at least a week. Water goes straight Down and gone in this sandy soil. We also use a shake and feed miracle fertilizer that really helps the soil. We go out and shake it around about once a month. If you have a sprinkler system set it to run once a day for a while rain or shine. Good luck. You’ve picked some beautiful plants ❤️
Everything looks beautiful. I love the look of fresh mulch also. It just makes the plants pop. You all have really done so much since you moved in. You are making a lovely home for your family. Can not wait to see how all your landscaping looks as it starts to grow. You two make a great team working together to get things done.
So pretty! The black mulch looks great too! Nick’s expression while he was unloading the mulch...LOL!
Great job !!! In case you haven't found out yet, the flowering bushes are native to Florida. They are pronounced Zoras. We planted them around the pool cage . They survived quite a few hurricanes even Ian . We live in Cape Coral, Florida right next to Fort Myers.
Your plants look lovely around your home, I love the colour of your house,it has given me good ideas for my front door entrance. I get in addictive mode when I go to the gardening centres. Bless you, Diana.
You guys did a great job! Your home is looking so beautiful and homey and cozy. You really know how to put things together.
I love all the beautiful plants you chose! It’s so colorful and will continue to look even better as they fill in/grow each year 😊🙌🏻
Really looks great! And yes your pronunciation of the Ixora plant is correct. I have seen it used as mainly a hedge & it is a slower growing plant but a hardy plant. There are so many beautiful varieties of plants & flowers God has created for us...
Love it! It all looks so good. Great to see Nick again. Y’all did a great job!
I love that your sons meet their teachers ! Hello from Tennessee !
It looks marvelous! I live in east TN, so half of your gorgeous plants would have to be houseplants for me. I’d love that year round warm weather for growing things. Truly enjoy your channel, thanks for sharing!
You're right, there is something about that black mulch! You did a wonderful job, both of you.
Water the gardenia frequently to help the roots recover. The other ones are azaleas. Cut them back by half and let the start to bush out again. Don’t let them get tall and straggly.
Wonderful job, what a difference plants make ! I love the look of fresh mulch too Lynne 😊 You've worked hard on the house since you moved in and it's all looking fabulous, you have such good taste and an eye for detail. Loved the video, thanks so much for sharing. Xx
Be blessed !
Looks amazing. Lots of work. Just beautiful Lynette.
Looks really good! Love all of the colors in the plants.
Love flowers design. Enjoy.
Your yard is starting to look pretty. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing with us!
Love all the plants!! Mulching is a big job! And we do have a lot, some areas we have River Stone the small ones with a few big ones on top, we are really liking it, just Edge it dig out a little and add the stone, upkeep is really nice I spray when I see weeds which there are many at all most often I just pulled them, I think stone would look really nice in that little circle by your doorway it would bring variety😉
The hard work payed off. Looks beautiful.
Yes it looks awesome! It really does!
Everything looks really nice! 👩🌾
It all looks so pretty and fresh!
Such a beautiful garden space. 🤗
The flowers look great! I love it!!
Just a word of caution, my MIL had a Bird of Paradise in her front yard in Orlando, FL, and that thing grew to where it was HUGE - about 4 ft in diameter, and fairly tall AND DENSE but beautiful flowers, so make sure don't plant it too close to the house! I can also attest that if the shrubs you planted on the side of the house will get to 3-4 ft in diameter, to replant them further out from the house or they will scrunch up to the side of your house and become a haven for bugs that wanna get in your house, as well as cause rot if your house siding is wood as well as cling to and change the paint color on the house where they are at. Ditto on anything else that will grow to be big enough to be touching/rubbing the sides of your house. No matter what you do (edging) or put in (physical edging material) the FL sand will either swallow it and/or the grass will grow 'feeders' into the flower beds and you'll find yourself pulling them out as you weed. VERY annoying. I weeded my MIL's extensive flower beds twice a year when we came down to FL and it was surprising how overgrown those flowerbeds got in every 6 month period, even being mulched . Your flower plants look lovely though. I really liked the Maui Yellow one that resembled Hydrangea-type flowers! Very unique. I can't wait to get back to FL - have two more winters (UGH!) in the mid-Atlantic before likely to happen. We'll be on the east coast and I wanna be close to the beach this time! (I was raised in FL.)
👍 The flower bed is beautiful. Well done.
It looks amazing. Beautiful.
Great job. Good choices for landscaping.
Just love your videos! ☀️ especially this landscaping one!!
It all looks wonderful!👍🏼
Living here in Southern Ohio,
I’m envious of all those beautiful tropical plants!😍
God Bless🙏✝️
Another viewer from Southern Ohio, I'm jealous too!
Isn’t it nice to have a husband that’s handy..I have one of those money tree plants, but I’ve not found the money on it yet..I’m hoping..LOL Love the results on the landscaping.
Love how it turned out!
so many pretty plants :) For the transplant that is struggling try soaking with the hose every day while it tries to recover, it may bounce back. I remember when we lived in Florida those every afternoon thunderstorms that would soak everything and then the sun would come back out. I love the black mulch. You inspired me to get out to my veg garden but I have to wait until the heat and humidity breaks a little this evening :/ Everything looks fresh and new, that was a lot of work!
It looks beautiful. You guys did a great job.
Your gardens look beautiful and definately has your touch to it.
Nick has a great sense humour, always glad to see him in the vlog.
Hope meet the teacher went well, it always exciting for little ones.
Keep watering your transplants. The best time to plant is the fall. Plus they mark all the plants down at the end of the seasons
Its gorgeous. You two did a great job. ❤🤗
Great job. Love the dark mulch
All those new plants are going to love the rain. You guys did a great job as always. Wandering Jews, periwinkles, Rosemary do great in Florida and spread fast. My rosemary is looking like a tree over here.
Looks great! Love black mulch!
I Love it, and hubby did a great job in helping you!? My husband and I did all our flower beds this summer, they needed a lot of work done but we enjoyed it and it looks so much better!!! Love watching you bloom where you are planted, and serving God where he moves you!! 💚 🙏 Prayers to you!
Love the way it turned out!
Everything looks so nice Lynette! Very pretty!
Your yard and home look beautiful!
Everything looks great!
Your flower beds look great!!
Yard looks nice. Good job.
Hi Lynnette, it looks beautiful! Nothing better than when you add in new plants that God blesses you with the rain they need!!
Looks FABULOUS!
It looks beautiful.
I love black mulch. Looking good!
It looks so neat and pretty
Beautiful landscaping!
Lovely colors.
“Tear-outs” lol Nic! Landscaping is looking great, guys, and hoping you’re enjoying a great family visit❣️
Like someone else said, I think the plants in the back are azaleas. Very pretty where they are in bloom. I’m
Mulching this weekend too. I learned from
NJ Family, she cut an edging line with a shovel so the grass doesn’t grow into the bed. I’m
Going to attempt that this weekend. Looks amazing. Lovely plants.
Yes. I have an edger made specifically for that. I did a ton of that in Ohio every spring. ☺️. We’ll see what happens here. The soil is sandy so it’s a bit different.
I agree, Florida soil is a lot of sand.
It's beautiful, Lynette!
Looks wonderful.
Great Job! Love all of it! 🌱🌴🌼🌺
Just trim the azaleas. They will come back beautiful in the spring. Make sure you put plenty of water to the gardenia transplant. Looks great.
👍🏽yes. I need to do that! I’ve been watering it. Plus there’s rain almost everyday here but I need to fertilize it.
Best time to trim azaleas is right after they finish blooming otherwise if you wait too long to trim you will be cutting off next years buds and azaleas won't bloom.
Looks very nice. I would add a few more of the same rocks to place around the rest of the flower bed.
☺️ this one was here. So I don’t have any more available.
Transplanting takes some time. I bought some roses and they hated me for a month now they are happy again. I don’t talk with you for a day and you go even more plants🤗 they all look good.
❤️ yes.. I should get some fertilizer too.
Lovely, dang you and Nick are not afraid of hard work!
The struggle is real with deciding what to put where. Right after we moved into our house, I mentioned in conversation that I wanted to clean out the flowerbeds. I came home from work one day and my sweet, young teenage son had cleaned out my flowerbeds. He even pulled up my beautiful peonies. His intentions were good so I couldn't be mad. But I was pretty upset.
😩 oh my!! I mean that’s good and bad!😄
It looks great...definitely motivation to get outside and finish my yard...can't wait for the gender reveal! Have a blessed day.
I love your garden! Beautiful job. We were military and I have loved gardening from the south to the north. Every place had different flowers / plants. Enjoy your garden.💜
Looks Awesome!
Lovely it all looks beautiful xx
Looks Great!
You did a great job!!!
It looks great 🌸
Love love your most beautiful home inside and out
Your yard is gorgeous! I would so love to get my hands in that soil and plant! You decorate beautifully inside and out. Thanks for sharing with us. You are so sweet.
Looks so nice .
Beautiful job guys
Wow! Loved it ....😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Looks great!!!
Looks really nice. The red leaf plants and the one in the bucket do better in shady areas. That grass out front will grow and grow, they trimming to keep them from getting too crazy. My gardener cuts mine all the way down twice a year. And I love that Cut leaf philodendron! I’m going to go look for one of those. Can’t wait for the gender reveal!
Ok. The ones in the front of the house should be ok then. They get very little sun. And the ones in the back are morning mostly.
I think morning sun will be okay, it’s the hot afternoon sun that will do them harm.
Oh my goodness, everyone up and dressed and by 6am? I’m impressed by your boys happiness that early in the morning. I love the yellow flowers, and the grass at the front corner especially. Can’t wait for gender reveal!
What? 6? I’m confused. No one was up at 6 - at least not besides Nic or I. Was it something I said in the kitchen ? 😄
Lynette Yoder I thought it was the time on your kitchen clock lol
Looks so pretty!
Looks awesome. Good job
You made great choices for the plants you picked. I am glad you put a few colorful plants in the front. It is Florida after all. I think pretty colorful plants look more summery and will give you that pretty sunny Florida look. Great job Lynette and Nick!!! Love and blessings to you all! 💖💙💜💚😎
Looks very nice!
Well done you guys!!!!
I love the black mulch! In Quebec, we have red mulch.
Love it!
I love Life too! The original is the Best!
I love seeing all the different plants for your zone. Looks great! I really like that yellow blooming shrub against the blue/gray of your house. I hope you do a follow up video after they've grown and filled out a bit. 😊
Looks beautiful
Gorgeous! 🥰
The plants with the red leaves, I believe, are called Caladium. I tried a few bulbs here in south coastal Texas. But they died, it’s too hot and dry here. Your planting beds look fabulous!
Love the new landscape! Glad you put some of the flowering plants in the back. They will provide a pretty view when you're drinking your coffee and having devotional time in the morning.
How fun!! Fresh plants and mulch bring so much joy to my heart, I hope it lifts your spirits everytime you see them! I think you did great, only time will tell if it all fills in just as smoothly :)
Lovely garden...
