Are there any risk factors or determiners that more frequently lead to relapse with surgery? I for example had a lot of maxilla forward growth, and overjet of the upper teeth, with a recessive mandible. I had an orthodontic treatment that removed 4 bicuspids and pulled both of my jaws backward. Since the natural position of my maxilla was much more forward than it is currently, would there be less likelihood of relapse since my body might 'remember' that it once was 6+ mm more advanced?
