Hope you’re having an amazing day! During our quick trip to Miami (Jan 2020), we took a day trip to the Everglades, a huge wetlands area and one of the most amazing day trip destinations from Miami. Along with visiting the alligator farm, I enjoyed the variety of tropical fruit shakes, and especially eating alligator kebabs and frog legs! #Everglades #Florida #foodtour
Robert Is Here - Homestead, Florida - On our way to the Alligator farm, we stopped at Robert Is Here, known for their huge selection of tropical fruit - and it is amazing. We ordered smoothies of Black Sapote, Canistel - Egg fruit, and Passion, Orange, Mango. All were delicious and fantastic, no sugar or additives, just the pure fruit.
Everglades Alligator Farm - Homestead, Florida - Next, our destination was the Everglades Alligator Farm, a great place to get an introduction to the Everglades wetlands, and to see wildlife in the wild. It was awesome to ride airboat - and yes they are even more fun than in the movies.
Everglades Gator Grill - Homestead, Florida - Finally, we headed to Everglades Gator Grill to eat some alligator, including alligator kebabs and a gator basket. We also tried their massive frog legs, which were delicious.
Total price - $82.75

I can’t believe this comment, nor the likes! Every person has his joy and pain and sorrow on this life. If he’s only sharing his joy, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have his sorrows or pains. This isn’t heaven, no one has it all.
The back end of all these videos can be crazy. People back stabbing, bad experiences, robbers, food poisoning, closed restaurants etc etc.
Even his life comes with hardships. He just makes them look effortless so we can just enjoy em.
Even his wife might always be annoyed with all the traveling and quite possibly nagging him. You never know.
Even I don't want to live his life. I am happy in my bubble lol. I visit only a few places a year and I just enjoy em mostly alone or with family.

Glad you showed Robert is Here some love! It has a great story too since the owner started it as a small fruit stand when he was a kid on the side of the road. Over the years he was able to build it into a local hotspot. I’d definitely recommend a visit to anyone who hasn’t gone and make sure to grab a milkshake 👍🏼

Always wanted to try it, I live in Florida and lots of ppl try it here, I only ate crocodile before and that was good
When cooked right,not over cooked, it somewhat resembles chicken! Fried is my favorite way of eating it, but now that I’m close to where this was filmed, I’m going to go there and try different ways
The strangest food ive tried is Panda & Dolphin. Panda is really hard to get hold off. I think it was $150

You're in my neighborhood! Lol I used to work 3 miles down this street and would pass Robert Is Here fruit stand every day coming from work. I actually brought fruit from here. I met the owner Robert he usually works everyday there, very friendly guy with a great work ethic and talks to all the customers
I'm still disappointed that you didn't visit any Haitian restaurants in the entire Miami. Miami has a huge Haitian community and the food is absolutely amazing

I love this so much. This is where I grew up. Robert Is Here fruit stand was a weekly stop for my family. My Grandfather owns a camp out in the Everglades and I spent my youth on airboats and swamp buggies in the Everglades.
That looked like a lot of fun !

Recently we visited Miami and our way to Key West, we stopped by at this fruit stand. I tried mango+ orange+ passion fruit smoothie combo and my husband took others, and it really tasted good. I told the owner that I was there watching your videos and they were really surprised and happy, they could recognize you. The lady presented me a sunflower. Thank you Mark. You're a great food reviewer.
