What is the maximum number of scans the tablet can handle? I appreciate that it is great to see the 'just-scanned' data on the table, but when it gets to projects where you are 400+ scans in, im sure it would start getting a bit laggy. Is there perhaps an option to hide other scans...?
There is no data about number of scans processing in Trimble Perspective at the same time in my hand. Tried to find Software User Guide. Not sure about 400+ scans. In other video I see around 30 scans ruclips.net/video/77b2Fb8ZReo/видео.html

John, do you mean standard and extended warranty? Trimble X7 has 2-year standard warranty and up to 5 years extended (p/n EWLS-X7), Trimble T10 tablet has 3-year standard warranty and up to 5 years extended (p/n EWLS-TABLET-HW), Trimble Perspective software has 1-year standard maintenance with extension (p/n EWLS-PERS-SW). No idea about prices in your region, but EWLS-TABLET-HW cost 335 USD in our region.
Nice presentation. Personally however i am a touch allergic to bullshit buzzwords like "professional". Nobody would buy a scanner in this price range unless they are getting paid...

Yes you can hide the other scans, Most occasions you would back up a days work to another BIM tower PC
how long does it take approximately to export a e57 directly out of the tablet of say 50 medium res scans?
roughly one hour. Export and colorization are not good for low-power tablet. These operations better doing in TRW desktop software.
Hey thanks for the reply. I saw a comparison between a faro Leica and x7 and one thing I noticed was they didn’t include exporting e57 time on the x7.
How does it compare to the TX6 or TX8?
By scanning speed and range, approximately corresponds to TX6.
