Hi Jade, you can't transfer the BLK2GO's data from the phone to the computer. Only a small sample of the data is transferred over to the phone for a live visualization while you are scanning. After you are done scanning, you'll need to transfer the data directly from the BLK2GO to a computer with a software called Register360. Then you can export the scan as an RCP file and open it up directly in AutoCAD or Revit.
Dont bank on the wifi working, they decided to leave a simple USB connection out of the design, what a simple yet obvious feature to add but the mind boggles

The app allows the user to view the point cloud that is being generated from a 2D or 3D perspective to ensure that all the areas in a project has been covered. The efficiency and usage of the app is the same for both Apple and Android, and it is up to the user's personal preference.
