Great and amazingly detailed video! I just received my rc controller today, and while watching pairing videos, this came up. Haven't even opened the box yet, and already I want to mod it. Thanks again, my friend.

Right on man! Yeah, if you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a message and I’ll be continuing to create some more stuff in and around the DJI’s capabilities.

@kevin-haggerty looking forward to it. I have an Air 2s that I should fly more. This rc controller will definitely encourage me to get out more. I'm in downtown Atlanta, so the stock range will be interesting.

@@MrNAMASTE1968 absolutely my friend ! I find the more I use the drone the smoother the shots I get. At the end of the day it’s all about practice and reps. And I love working every time to get each shot better and better!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Great video Kevin! I have restored old Alfa Romeos for 30 years, so working on drone stuff doesn't scare me at all. Thank you for this vid on range extenders. I live in Maine, and it is mountainous and heavily forested, I lose my signal a lot.

That’s awesome!! I love cars still and love working on my own projects. This is a super easy one just take your time! Glad the video helped!

Waterfront city environments are the worst.

✅ I will be uploading a part 2 for this one after a few weeks of flying the drone with the antenna mod.
✅ I’m hoping it works as well as some of the other results I’ve heard of. hit the comments if you have any questions on this mod!
    ✨Thanks for watching

      Any obvious changes so far?

    • @kevin-haggerty
      @kevin-haggerty  7 месяцев назад +1

@@DollarMoviesUSA from the runs I’ve had so far yes. I just did a few aerial shoots in the city of Ft Lauderdale and it was a noticeable improvement as far as higher signal around the tall buildings. I will do a video on it hopefully early next week to go over the info I’ve learned. I would say it’s worth the upgrade especially due to the price. Especially if you fly in and around city or tall structures, trees, etc.

I'll be interested to see the results. I wouldn't even try anything like this as I have trouble hanging picture hooks

Dann muss man nichts verändern.

200% right my friend. I have looked up different antennas that work best for the 2.4-5 ghtz signal.
From what I’ve seen so far from the two different sets I have is that in some places I have great signal and in some areas the opposite set works better.
It’s definitely hot or miss. Some days I will have outstanding signal the entire time and some spots are way worse.
I’ve seen a difference in open spaces with less home and business WiFi’s being used.

Doesn't work with those antennas . I only get 300 to 1K feet with them. Lost my Mini 4 Pro May 3rd. Around 100 yds away. Stick with the original RC ant. These ant. don't have the SWR rating and will ruin you RC eventually. Play at your own risk

The range is definitely better. I am doing a part 2 this week and I will have the numbers of how much distance is different.
