Great sound. I miss naturally aspirated high performance sedans. Turbos killed a lot of the engine sound, and the sound was a huge part of the appeal. At least for me.

Hab mir grad den Soundcheck von JP Performance vom r8 v8 angehört und muss sagen der hier ist viiiieeeel geiler...
Gurkensalat Deshalb kommt JP auch immer zu Tomek wenn er nicht mehr weiter weiss und dann gehts erstmal mit der Flex an die Mittelschalldämpfer. So macht man Sound der den Namen auch verdient.

$15-25k to buy, and another $10k+ to maintain/fix for a couple years. Realize that this is an $80k car with ceramic brakes ($4k for a set), has carbon issues ($1-2k to clean), needs several thousand dollars for electrical and other things, not to mention insane oil and gas consumption. So if you don't have at least $30k set aside, don't buy one. The real cost is NOT $15k.

Did you keep the stock mufflers?
Did you remove all 4 resonators or just the ones at the rear?
The S8 probably has straight pipe with custom finals probably... Do the same for the M6
What year is your own S8, Looking at starting my Audi Journey very soon. Looking at picking up a 2008 #A6 #C6 2nd generation S-line with a 3.2 engine Quattro, what are the most common issues I might experience for this model year & what other alternatives could you suggest I still take a look at ?

That V10 engine got a lot of problems... I don´t know how to explain it in englisch but it had to do with the FSI injection systems which brought a lot of engine damages... so please google it by yourself.
+Lanre Oladejo fuck anything under a a8 bro. you'll kick yourself later. Like me you don't seem to have the coin for S/RS. I am looking at maybe a v10 s8 later?
Currently got a 2003 4.2L V8 quattro A8. Not expensive to buy, just make sure it's a good one with full books. A6's just lack the refinement of the A8 and lack the performance. I'd buy a older 4.2 RS4, not a S4. I'd think about a 5.2L V10 S6, just for the motor.
But dollar for dollar you can't top a 4.2L A8.
Make sure you get the premium interior. Amaretto leather, Vavona wood. Ehanced leather/aluminium trim. They're rare but fuck me, the interior is off the hook. Take your time, you'll find one.

Don't go a A6, the extra you spend chasing down a specced D3 4.2L A8 will be well worth it bro
