I like your mufflers, my S8 got aftermarkets as well but they feel and sound a bit too open. What are yours? Check my S8, I share a lot of my maintenance on the car.

I know it's an old post but do you still have your d3 I have a d3 I love it but seem to be forever fixing something replaced exhaust cam sensor then both rocker gaskets but now I have missfire cylinder 6 then it says multiple there is no oil in the plug Wells maybe a set of plugs and coil packs? Will sort it I have the correct vcds to plug in it's straight piped too sure i annoy my neighbours at 7am ha

@@BREN2009 Yep, I still have it. cylinder 6 misfire. Disregard multiple misfire code, it comes with the cyl 6. Could be plug/coil, it was in my case for cylinder 2 and 3 until carbon buildup became too much. You should remove intake manifold (easier than you think) and inspect it, redo all gasket, send injectors to cleaning service, clean carbon and it will smooth that baby up nicely. I have a broken intake, will be replacing this spring/summer along with water pump and front main seal.
Straight pipe? You re a mad man. Put some cats and mufflers on it. Mines is alrighty loud with aftermarket pipes but it never starts earlier than 10am.
I put the wear on my quieter A8L. 573 000km and counting !
