Ich hatte mal vor zig Jahren den BMW 740d E38 V8 Diesel.
Das war geradezu unglaublich was der für einen Druck/Drehmoment kurzzeitig aufbauen konnte.
Nicht auszudenken was da mit nem Chip noch machbar ist.
Und aktuell ist der 740d noch wesentlich billiger als der 535d nur leider etwas altaussehend und gross aber sonst... Top!

You can shift also with the steering wheel paddles but I don´t use that.
Anyway before the S8 I owned the M3 E92 with manual gear box and I didn´t like it very much because of most city drives I did.
This was permanently kicking the clutch pedal.

Great car but I nearly fell asleep driving it in town, these cars are best in the country roads and highways. I love driving mine in NZ through the mountains, windows down, sunroof open and in sport mode, dynamic that's living the dream. :) thanks anyway

oh man i LOVE this car the engine growl sounds like an angry dog
...die ich sowieso nicht benutze weil die Dinger einfach derart langsam reagieren das es überhaupt keinen Spass/Sinn für mich macht.
Drücken -> 1Sekunden warten -> Gang drin.
Nur das BMW SMG III in seiner schnellsten Stufe kam der Sache relativ nah aber leider mit erheblichem Ruckeln.

Naja das kann man auch machen aber ich finde die GoPro bei speziell dieser Sicht eben unpassend da
sie :
- keinen aktiven Bildstabilisator
- ein mieses Mikrofon
- einen unnatürlich wirkenden Weitwinkel unpassend.
Bei den "point of view" (POV) macht sie sich besser.

Doch die habe ich aber die eignet sich für diese Aufnahme nicht.
Mit der GoPro mache ich grösstenteils nur Aussenaufnahmen und gelegentlich die POV Videos.
Sonst taugt das Ding auf Grund des miesen Mikros nicht viel.
I like this kind of driving and I like watching consuption while driving :-) Its interesting to see these cars driving "normaly" with trafic aroud. What was avg. consumption at the end?

so no speed limit in the Autobahn but everyone drives exactly 100 km/h we have speed limit in Hungary 130 or 140km/h but everyone drives like 180-and 200km/h
This is just a city autobahn (highway) which got of course a speed limit of 80 km/h.

Es geht nur darum den Sound zu hören bzw. zu zeigen da es sonst im Video nicht richtig rüberkommt.

W sumie przy takiej dużej ilości redukcji biegów i trybie sportowym to nie ma tragedii ze spalaniem.
You mean... is the brake same powerfull like the M3 one?
No it isn´t it much lower.
I just confused bout some things.
The Power don´t feels enough for such weight and the brake is also too low.
The consumption is crazy... I think about 25l in the city... so thats why they changed into a V8 biturbo in the actual S8.
