I am 40+, single, 15 yrs in a multi-national company, admitted to MBA program. I have investments and my own liquid money (in my name) saved over a period of time to cover two years tuition and 2 years living expenses. But I have a brother there, and I am single. Home ties are parents and friends. What advice would you give me to strengthen my application.

Many thanks Dr. K for this helpful tips. I have a question. I am married with 3 kids but hubby works at d US presently. Though I have no intention of coming to Canada with d kids for now but to get them join me later. My fear is that I no disclosing that he stays at d US can be a red flag. Pls structure this part for me to no how best to go about it. Could a background check possibly be done to no where he works, don't think they have to do that when he's not d main applicant. Why not have your husband file for you and the kids to come live with him in the states it’s a lot easier and your chances of approval is 90% higher it’s nearly impossible for them to deny you the immigrant visa

For example I have 212(a)(6)CI in the US embassy . If am applying for a study permit in another country like Canada and I have disclose my refusal in Canada application forms can this 212(a)(6)CI affect my application in Canada for student visa or permit ?

Good day sir. I am kwabi Abednego. I have a one-year visa which will expire in December 2023. I was supposed to be in Canada this winter for studies but due to some reasons, I had to defer my course to September 2023. please can I use this old visa to enter Canada in September or do I have to apply for a new student visa?

Your question is not direct. Do you mean accept you for Msc or PhD or what exactly. And why don't you go directly to the website of the Canadian university you are interested in and check out for yourself what their entry minimum qualifications and requirements are?
Thanks for the video. But I haven’t seen any video that informs about if the prospective student is with a kid in a different country while the spouse is in Nigeria. I am with my kid in the US and want to apply for student visa to Canada while my spouse is in Nigeria. What do you advise especially regarding my kid who is with me here? Do I come to Canada with my kid or still apply alone? Please advise.

All the points highlighted are to make your application stronger and give you a fighting chance. My advice will be to work on the areas where there is weakness.

Apply for English school, like kaplan international explaning you will need to up english proficiency, fast process and they accept new students every month. Once in Canada, you could choose what to do freely :)

Why do they make it so hard😫 they know they need skilled immigrants though. What if I'm applying for undergraduate studies what kind of progression do I need to show
For undergrad studies, you don't need to show progression as long as your WAEC results are excellent and you are within 1 to very fews years out of high school
If you are out of high school for over 11 years. And, self-employed own personal business well registered under government. Can I still apply for the undergraduate program and tender it for a Study Visa?

It's possible but it depends on a lot of factors but it's always better you come first to establish a routine then have husband and children join you
