Can we all just take a minute to appreciate that even when he ranks things worst to best, Morgan does it so respectfully to the content and other people's opinions? Like really, some other youtubers do ranking videos and scream the whole time and put down other's opinions. But even when talking about the cursed child, something he hates, he's still polite. It's so refreshing, and makes him a very pleasant creator to watch. Thanks Morgan!
Now that you mentioned that, I agree he's so calm and chill about this. Have you seen the one where he reacts to a video that greatly disrespected the HP series and completely roasted them?
Actually, I couldn't stop picturing the scene when Fleur and Bill first met. She was contemptiable and arrognt in Hermione's opinion. But when she met Bill first time in the small chamber, she hid behind her parents and peeked at him shyly occasionlly. LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. YOUNG LOVE. All I can say is adorable. I love this couple. And then Fleur got herself work in Gringotts after graduation so that she could have a chance to know Bill. OMG. Sooooo cute.
Unpopular opinion: i thought it was a bit creepy that couple. Bill is what? 24 or 25 when he starts dating an 18-19 fleur who has just finished school that same year? Is not that the age gap is very big, is that he is a man who had lived out of home and on his own for years already, and she is literally fresh out of school. And it seemed like he was her assigned mentor at work too, the one in charge to help her and teach her around in gringotts.
@@nessyness5447 I feel like it’s okay. Fleur is a consenting adult and isn’t a minor or a child. I mean my parents were around that respective age when they got together. It isn’t like Fleur’s 16 and he’s in his mid 20’s.
@@Allthingsasian it's as i said about the dynamic, as i said, he has been living as an independant adult fot years, she is barely out of school, new in a country away from her family and friends and he is in a position of being her mentor at work, it doesn't sit entirely well with me the situation. Maybe if fleur had also finished school at 17 and met bill after one or two years of being in the laboral world and in general, of experiencing life out of school, it would be better.
AgREeD The Weasley’s other characteristic that is spread apart from their red hair around the family is their kindness (but it sometimes skipped, because you know...,,some of the weakly brothers), but nonetheless they were very compassionate.
Hermione and Ron, Harry and Ginny are horribly portrayed in the movies. As someone who watched the movies first, I was so confused when they ended up together. Hermione and Ron at least had a little spark but Ginny and Harry were so stupid together. Then, I read the books and I love them together so much now. The movies REALLY did them bad
You can blame Steve Kloves (he screenwrote all but the fifth film) for that. He self-admitted that he was a Harry/Hermione shipper who had some odd vendetta against Ron and Ginny. That kinda explains why they questionably added “romantic” moments between Harry and Hermione in the movies which NEVER existed in the books while at the same time brutally downplaying Romione and Hinny, which angered a lot of book fans.
@@bakingsoda3238 they might be talking about some hugging scenes or the way the actors portrayed some chemistry...it was clearly a fault with the screenplay...like they seemed a bit more than platonic
Lily Evans and Nymphadora Tonks are actually Identical character. Lily is muggle born and Tonks father is a muggle born. They both married a Marauder (James and Remus) and died in the war against voldemort sadly leaving their children (Harry Potter and Teddy Lupin) orphan who both would grow very close to the Weasley family and eventually being romantically involved with (Harry and Ginny, Teddy and Victoire).
5 years after the battle of Hogwarts Mrs. Weasley was rushing around preparing Ron’s birthday dinner, “ Get the chicken out of the over Fred!” Mrs. Weasley yelled at George. Mrs. Weasley immediately started crying and apologizing to George. George pulled her into a bone crushing hug. George whispered quietly with a smirk on his face “ honestly women you call yourself our mother”
I guess Hermione and Ron are a realistic couple. They had chemistry and a great friendship, but obviously they had fights and trials. Also, Rowling and the movies did Ron a bit dirty near the end of the series. In the books he is always a loyal and helpful friend, and someone who overcomes his fears to help himself and his friends. I doubt he would actually do things behind Hermione's back like the last chapter of the series suggests. And so what if they need marriage counseling? It's not the worst thing in the world and it just shows that they are willing to work hard at their relationship. Relationships are not just romance and chemistry, it's also compromise.
Tbh, Hermione also confunded Cormac just so Ron could get on the Quidditch team, so it's all even ground. But I agree Ron confunding the examiner was the only thing I didn't like about the ending. I mean ma dude has driven a flying car at the age of 12, why would he take a driving test as an adult??
Also when they finally kiss it was so cute. Hermione was working very very hard to free all the house elf and Ron actually cared about them to mention that the elf's should probably evacuate the castle instead of being forced to fight. It was a very sweet compassionate moment for Ron that Hermione saw.
Ron and Hermione deserved to be in the top 3 and I'll tell you why: all the possible problems in their relationship that some people see are based on a time when they weren't a couple and they were just kids. It's canon and we can see in the books, and even in the movies, that the more they mature and start to accept the true feeling they have for each other, the more they start to get along. JK Rowling said that Cursed Child is canon and they have a happy and mature marriage in it. that is, all the possible problems in their relationship really don't match what actually happens in the canonical evolution of the dynamic between the characters. It's like saying that Harry is a terrible husband because he kissed Cho Chang and hurt Ginny's feelings at the time they weren't even a couple yet. it doesn't make sense to judge a couple's dynamic by a period when they weren't yet a couple, when canonical events say otherwise after they become a couple in fact. People need to understand that Ron and Hermione aren't stuck forever in the Goblet of Fire, their characters have evolved as has their relationship. And people also need to reflect on how difficult it must be to accept that they are in love with a longtime friend, which can ruin the whole friendship built and that's why Ron and Hermione are so reluctant with their feelings before they actually start dating. Being a realistic relationship does not mean being worse, but the opposite. The more a fictional couple makes people think of them as a real couple means that the characterization of their relationship has been done well and Ron and Hermione are definitely that kind of couple.
I’m not completely against it and most of the time I absolutely love it when people end up with people they’ve known their whole lives being friends as kids…But for some reason…I have never liked Ron and Hermione together. I was very disappointed when I read the books for the first time and when I learned that Hermione and Ron got together I just….I just didn’t see it. I like them as friends but having them be together always bothered me. And I’m not even sure why and I know many people love them together but I just…them being together makes me cringe in an uncomfortable way
Yes, even though the movies toned down their volatile fighting, they hardly showed all the good moments Ron and Hermione had together. The movies butchered Ron's character.

I totally agree, they're my favourites, too, but if only one of them had survived, the left one would have been the unhappiest person ever. And now, they're at least together.
I don't think if any one of them survived, they would've been happy ever after the war. They both loved each other deeply, especially Tonks, she loved Lupin more than her own life and Lupin had already gone through enough, had seen two of his best friends die tragically and wouldn't have been able to cope with life if his wife had died.
She did that so Harry would see himself in Teddy, neither having parents at a young age and make Harry feel obligated to make sure Teddy did have the same miserable start of life as he did or something.
True.....before that video I never thought or understood how much deep that relationship has been....It's so underrated, fanbase never talks about that
Romione: She was his gravity. He was her free-fall. Hinny: Snarky. Sporty. Superb. Marthur: PERFECTION Remadora: Tragic but they deserved to live. Jily: Why did they die???
@@stefaniporte8369 I thought it was nice at the beginning, but Lupin leaving Tonks because he was worried his child would be like him is so out of character, and his yelling at Harry (not to mention cursing Harry) was even more so. The problem with their relationship is Lupin feels like he was badly written in book seven, and it actually lead me to not liking him in the end
Arthur and Molly are like the rock of the series in terms of couples. Like Ron being Harry’s rock, they were the surrogate family that Harry needed and he did eventually become part of their family
That actually bothered me so much. It rips away some of just how brutal it is. Sure, being murdered is horrible no matter the age, but they were only 21. Barely adults, they had so much life to live together and with their son. Extremely stupid casting choice.
@@whatintarnation7057 But Snape of Harry's time would have been in his 30s, but he would have been 21 as well when they died. The only excuse for that is maybe the flashback scenes, but honestly they could have just used some editing? You know it gets on my nerves how we've gotten a spinoff for Fantastic Beast yet, WB never thought to make a spinoff for Draco as we watch his redemption.
Same as Ron and Hermione (book version). Their personalites balanced each other and the love they had for each other was so strong that it didnot break despite all that volatile fighting they did because of hormonal insecurities. But in the movies, Ron is assassinated into a comic relief broody idiot and Hermione's a perfect annoying Mary Sue.

Lupin and Tonks are my favorite couple. They sacrificed themselves so that their child could live in a better world. That is true dedication to your family. ❤️
Haveen’t finished the video yet but I think Molly and Arthur should be first. The Grangers don't count? If nothing else, they did support Hermione to be a witch. They were even part of the main series while lots of other ones included in the list were canon. Mostly agree with the list and the explanations.
The problem with the Grangers is that all we know is that they are dentists and Hermione's parents. As they are both Muggles Rowling didn't want to spend too much time on them seeing them as less interesting. Although I understand her motivation, I think a bit more "screentime" for them wouldn't have hurt. We know so little about them it's impossible to rank them in.
@@itsagirlpoppyt Well, we know a lot about Xenophillius both as a person and perhaps also as a father. The point is, we do know that Luna's mother liked to experiment and died in the process, but how the relationship between her and Xenophillius was, was actually never really elaborated upon. As a matter of fact, it's not even clear how Luna's relation with her mother was. She was there when mommy died, which is why she could see Thestrals, but other than that...
the problem is he's left her and Draco out to dry on many an occasion. Narcissa's redeeming feature is that she loves her son very much, whereas Lucius seems to be 100% a jerk
George and Angelina really was weird when you think about it. I could almost see them having happened because it was a connection to Fred. Angelina being someone Fred was with and George being Fred's twin brother. They both just lost him and I guess found comfort in one another. George just happened to look exactly like the guy Angelina was once with.
That is so true. I mean, there must be something like love between them since they lasted forever… But seeing that they both had to process the loss of a loved one always brings me back to this weird Sirius-Harry dynamic. They both, in some twisted way, saw Fred in each other… and that sounds not really healthy to me.
I mean, George was really similar to Fred as well, I think he’s the more grounded one. So she got sort of her former lover but more grounded and kind of able to help her process her emotions. And they were both people who really understood fred as his own person. Cuz there’s def a reason she dated fred and not George and why fred and her got along. The two ended up chatting about fred, and eventually they just got closer
Same. I can't see it at all healthy for either of them. For her, she never properly grieves and for him, he has someone who was with Fred. But very odd.
A lot of people feel this way but grief is weird as you mentioned. I read a fanfic that said Fred asked Angelina cause he knew George liked Angelina and Angelina liked George but they were both too shy to do anything. I’ve accepted that as a head canon cause I think it’s so sweet. But that’s just me :)
@@foodofthegods remus and tonks always felt weird to me because it felt like a coverup for how jk wrote lycanthropy (whether intentionally or not) to parallel queerness. it also just came out of nowhere and the age difference squicks me out

One of my favorite couples is actually Tonks and Lupin. And the worst thing is, is that people will hate Tonks and say Lupin never loved her which is so not true. He was scared at first and had never had someone love him or show him love. And people will ship Lupin and Sirius instead of realizing that guys can be really close friends without being romantically interested in one another. Not to mention the fact that it’s NOT canon.
Ik I’m six months late, but I agree. Lupin and Tonks were both characters I loved in the books, and they made one great pair. They are probably my personal favorites.
Eh, it's not a bad pairing, but being non-canon it kinda popped out of nowhere in the movies. Maybe if they had made it more ingrained in the previous shared scenes they had...
I actually thought they were the inverse of James and Lily. Harry was a lot like Lily and Ginny was a lot like James. And something really cool is you can’t tell which couple it is in fanfiction drawings unless you see the eyes. If the boy has green eyes and the girl has brown eyes it’s Hinny. If the boy has brown eyes and the girl has green eyes, it’s Jilly.
Petunia and Vernon were like tweedledumb and tweedleidiot. They just clicked together and stayed that way. Personally, I think they are the muggle and more normal version of Lucius and Narcissa.
me too. even though she is an extremely powerful witch, she continuously lost her happiness and that helplessness was probably so hard for her because she had been able to work hard and achieve anything in the past.
This is a part where the Nazi-analogy of the Deatheathers falls a bit apart. While Hitler didn't have children, most high ranking Nazi's had very large families, with 5+ children.
Molly and Arthur were deservedly on the top spot but I'm also glad that you ranked Andromeda and Ted so high because even though we know quite little about them, what we do know really makes me wish we would have gotten to see more of them. Andromeda must have loved Ted a lot to leave her whole childhood family behind + those two did raise a pretty great daughter, so...

In Ron and Hermione’s relationship, I don’t care if they had drama, fights. For some fans like me, their drama and fights are entertainment. I still think that they deserve top 5
Well, apart from the 3rd Year Cat-Rat fight and the 6th Year Lavender business, they had no intense fights. Actually Ron and Hermione love bickering and arguing. It's their way of communication which Harry finds annoying. It's natural for Ron and Hermione.
@@helena463 :) Nah, but I found it annoying. The entire subplot seemed like a roadblock for Ron and Hermione's pairing than a speed bump. I ship them fully but this subplot is a very big flaw of their relationship.

You can't really call anything between Snape and Lily a relationship. But his love for her was unprecedented and the realization of how limitless it was always brings tears to my eyes.
Notice that the couples that took first places one of the Weasleys must be a part of them ( except for Andromeda and Ted ) . The Weasleys were a huge affective part of the franchise especially for Harry having a best friend and a loving wife from them . I think Molly and Arthur did deserve the first place for raising such a beautiful loving family .
And also they deserve first place because they act like Harry is their own child and Ron acts like he’s his brother actually all the Weasley fam acts like Harry’s their brother/son(besides Ginny DUH SHE LIKES HIM)
Andromeda and Ted could be connected to a Waesley after all. Their Grandchildren Teddy Lupin. Who is practically living with the Potter family as he eats dinner there 4 days a week more than in his grandmother house. So technically he is raised by Harry and Ginny (a weasley). And of course the biggest connection the Tonks would have with the Waesley is. Teddy is dating Victoire Weasley and was close friend to her for so long and it's only a matter of time before J.K Rowling announced that they were married. The biggest hint that they would have married sometimes is Lily, Ginny's daughter always so fond of Teddy and wished him to be a part of her family which in turn would also fulfill Ginny's dream to have Nymphadora Tonks as her family member. This connect Andromeda and Ted to the Weasley
Hermione and Ron are my favorite couple they are so adorable together and yes they have fought a lot but there were reasons and they should have higher the list!
Ron in philosopher’s Stone when Hermione says she doesn’t have any wood: Are you a witch or what? Hermione in deathly hallows when the trio were in the forbidden forest wanting to enter the shrieking shack passage in the whomping willow where VOldemort was, but they couldn't make the tree to stop hitting the, and Ron said if only they had crookshanks (because Crookshanks is small enough to crawl and prod the branch): are you a wizard or what? These two are totally destined for each other 🤣
Not only that but at the Yule Ball, Hermione was wearing a blue dress and Ron was wearing brown dress robes. What's funny is that Ron's eye colour is blue while Hermione's are brown. Coincidence?? I think not......... 😅
Wait... Minerva’s husband was killed by a venomous tentacula... but they learn and deal with these plants in hogwarts in 6th year? This was dumbledore’s idea wasn’t it
I'm just gonna say that I think what makes Ron and Hermione so great is that they don't agree on everything. They aren't at all like each other. Hermione balances Ron's Ron-ness, and Ron can make sure Hermoine isn't always being super uptight. They fight a lot, but they know how to make up because they've done it so much.
I agree. Yes, their hormonal volatile fights as teenagers were annoying. But I definitely believe that Ron and Hermione have a healthy loving marriage as matured adults. People also forget that Ron and Hermione enjoy bickering, it is how they communicate.
Idk why, but right when you said Tonks and Remus, I immediately stared crying because they died and had a son. Edit: How did this get so many likes so fast oh my god 🤭
I definitely feel like Ron and Hermione should’ve been in the top three all those awkward stressful moments and then growing up and know each other from childhood…those things create very deep bonds. They were so very much in love got married and had children. Their love stands the test of time for sure
The moment I clicked on this video I thought "Arthur and Molly is the #1 couple" and I was right. Didn't think much of Flora and Bill before but yeah what a beautiful couple.
Even if Harry wasn’t in the picture I think Ginny would’ve dumped dean maybe after school when she had to travel for quidditch because I can see her being the kind of independent woman in her 20s who wouldn’t mind living on her own for awhile (being with Harry is always the exception lol)
I LOVE how honest he is! He is like “he just didn’t have the balls to break up with her” and respects everyone’s opinion!!! Plus he put Remadora in the top 10 where it belongs.
I remember that what finally broke up Ron and Lavender was when he was calling for Hermione in the hospital wing instead of Lavender. I can't recall if that was in both book and movie or just the movie.
Actually just movie, in the books she left him because Ron and Hermione left the dorm together with Harry but Harry was hidden under his invisibility cloak.
I am literally devoted to Harry and Ginny’s relationship. They are my favorite couple not only in the Harry Potter books, but in every book I have every read. I also really love Ginny’s character in the book. NOT in the movie. This is mainly because of this one word: ✨ShOeLAcEs✨
My two biggest comments on the relationships of the HP universe: 1. Harry and Ginny are literally perfect for each other. Both experiencing troubles personally with Voldemort, bonding over their love for quidditch, and honestly just completing the other; they were made to be. 2. I DISPISE Harry X Hermione. One of my biggest pet peeves is people trying to force two people who have no romantic feelings for each other to be a couple. They both thought of the other solely as a sibling, through the whole series, it never changed. They had a strong, comfortable bond that had NOTHING to do with attraction. They're relationship shows that its possible for two people to be close and not try to date at all. I loved their dynamic as someone who's been best friends with a guy since I was a child, I appreciate JK writing a friendship that's just that, friendship. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
@@MovieFlameMorgan, maybe you should make a essay video on how the movies destroyed Hinny and Romione because IIRC, Steve Kloves (the guy who was the screenwriter for the entire series) was a Hermione-obsessed person.
I think hermione and Ron make a perfect couple; their fights and their differences makes them a perfect couple as it wouldn’t be healthy to be perfect and also not to mention why they had been through and even though they have always been a little awkward through the years it builds up to the family the had at the end
Morgan deserves to direct his own full length movie. He fires shots at the directors of other movies. And as Ron said, “you try it if you’re so clever”
Personally my favorite couple is harry & ginny and tonk & lupin. Harry and ginny were absolutely adorable, harry wanted ginny to be safe even if that meant they had to stay away from each other and ginny understood. The first time I actually teared up was in half blood prince after bill was hurt by greyback and everyone is in the room. Tonks told lupin she doesnt care if he was a werewolf and that she loved him but lupin kept saying she deserved someone young and whole and how he was dangerous, poor and old and that he couldnt be with tonks. I was so sad from that, especially after his argument with harry in the 7th book. they definitely could've gotten a lot more happy years together but they died together trying to make a better world for teddy :(
In Cho's defense with her relationship with Harry, she was rather possessive of him. She didn't want to lose him like she lost Cedric. The reason why she didn't want him to be around Hermione was mostly because, in my eyes, that she had a thing for him, but we know it wasn't the case. Of course, on the other hand, Harry did started to have a thing for Ginny, despite the relationship she had at the time. So...we can't truly be mad at her for it. Had they talked about this more, then things might've been a bit smoother and happier.
@@TheDrock900and she decided to just ditch Harry because he wouldn’t talk about Cedric and wanted to see hermione even though if anything harry would be the most scarred by Cedric’s death because he witnessed it

George and Angelina is a dynamic that is weird, but is actually way more common than I thought or realized. Many people fall in love in the comforting each other phase, and also because that person knows the person who died so it becomes a way to keep them alive!)
If you've ever read the divergent series where Tris dies, Four was going through a rough place and Christina, Tris's best friend ended up dating Tobias. I just find that so strange and same with Angelina and Fred's relationship but I do understand where you're coming from.
you forgot one. barty crouch and his wife. I think they would be pretty high on the list, as barty crouch loved her wife soo much that he was ready to smuggle his son out of azkaban, breaking such a big wizarding law, on his request, even though he was a rule-follower and hated those who didn't obey them and knew that he was basically killing his wife. barty crouch junior literaly said that his father had loved his mother as he had never loved him
He also forgot the bloody baron and the grey lady/Helena Ravenclaw (they would of course be veeery low on the list) but they're not really important and I'm impressed by how many couples he actually did manage to remember and include in the video

OMG. Sooooo cute.
love at first sight

Exactly hinny is an underated ship sadly, ppl think it's overated :(
You can blame Steve Kloves (he screenwrote all but the fifth film) for that.

I think it was confirmed that this was intentional, as far as Remus and Tonks dying to make sure their son could live a better life goes.

And I’m not even sure why and I know many people love them together but I just…them being together makes me cringe in an uncomfortable way

I really wish Rowling hadn’t killed off Tonks or lupin, or even just kept one alive because I love them, they are probably my favorite couple.
Well they had a child so they wouldn't be completely alone
She did that so Harry would see himself in Teddy, neither having parents at a young age and make Harry feel obligated to make sure Teddy did have the same miserable start of life as he did or something.
Tonks and Lupin were a wonderful couple, they're death was so unfair...

Bellatrix, however, was Truly loyal but, she was Narcissa's sister who she did care for. but a mothers loyalty will be with there child. I can see him manipulating her, ensuring his biggest supporter would not follow her family if they would make a run for it. also while I don't think he cared to start a family. pretty sure his sex drive was as none existing as his nose. but he did care for his bloodline. he was proud to be related to Slytherin. a man who put importance in purety of blood. getting a kid with Bellatrix a pure blood would prezerf that line and, he would make a step in ensuring that bloodline was becoming pureblood again.

Hi Hermione I love your pfp 😌
Author and molly wa easily act like Harry is their child and all the weasly kids (except Ginny) act like he’s tiger brother

I'm just gonna say that I think what makes Ron and Hermione so great is that they don't agree on everything. They aren't at all like each other. Hermione balances Ron's Ron-ness, and Ron can make sure Hermoine isn't always being super uptight. They fight a lot, but they know how to make up because they've done it so much.
I agree. Yes, their hormonal volatile fights as teenagers were annoying. But I definitely believe that Ron and Hermione have a healthy loving marriage as matured adults. People also forget that Ron and Hermione enjoy bickering, it is how they communicate.
I luv them, it is true :)

Even if Harry wasn’t in the picture I think Ginny would’ve dumped dean maybe after school when she had to travel for quidditch because I can see her being the kind of independent woman in her 20s who wouldn’t mind living on her own for awhile (being with Harry is always the exception lol)
~Not to mention Dean might be in love with Seamus~
I LOVE how honest he is! He is like “he just didn’t have the balls to break up with her” and respects everyone’s opinion!!! Plus he put Remadora in the top 10 where it belongs.
I remember that what finally broke up Ron and Lavender was when he was calling for Hermione in the hospital wing instead of Lavender. I can't recall if that was in both book and movie or just the movie.
But tonks is a lesbian and wolfstar and he was so much older than her
@car_keys its canon in my head honey love
Actually just movie, in the books she left him because Ron and Hermione left the dorm together with Harry but Harry was hidden under his invisibility cloak.

I am literally devoted to Harry and Ginny’s relationship. They are my favorite couple not only in the Harry Potter books, but in every book I have every read. I also really love Ginny’s character in the book. NOT in the movie. This is mainly because of this one word:
✨ShOeLAcEs✨
My two biggest comments on the relationships of the HP universe:
I hate the parking of Harry and Hermione. They’re friends and only friends. Simple as that.

I think hermione and Ron make a perfect couple; their fights and their differences makes them a perfect couple as it wouldn’t be healthy to be perfect and also not to mention why they had been through and even though they have always been a little awkward through the years it builds up to the family the had at the end

Wise words, Luna.
Morgan deserves to direct his own full length movie. He fires shots at the directors of other movies. And as Ron said, “you try it if you’re so clever”
He understands the Harry Potter series more than David Yates and Steve Kloves ever did.
I was so sad from that, especially after his argument with harry in the 7th book. they definitely could've gotten a lot more happy years together but they died together trying to make a better world for teddy :(
but dora is a lesbian and remus is gay
All i got was them Ravenclaw boys were getting all the girls! 😂
But Cho constantly brought up the subject of Cedric and that made Harry uncomfortable
@@adventuresofavalon2477 True. She just hasn't moved on from that yet.
