We have lots of catching up to do ourselves, had to take a little break from you tube as we went on holiday again to Kefalonia, which was amazing, but then since we got home, work and life in general has been pretty hectic to say the least. We have never seen anything like the sculpture beach, an amazing spot 😍. Lovor was our favourite bar, it was right on the coast, had a gorgeous vibe to it, and did the meanest orange chellos 🍊🥂🥰. But then hard to choose between that and the Havana rum bar! Those cocktails were amazing! Although we did roll outta there 🥴😂. We are glad the fun we had came across on the video 😊. A girl I worked with for years has an apartment in Croatia and I can see why she likes it so much there, it looks amazing. What a brilliant birthday present (Happy Birthday) but the big '3' 0 surely! If you want a restaurant with a view, cool drinks and good food, that would take come beating (bit stingy with the chips mind). Loved the crystal clear waters and the sculpture beach and another amazing place to eat - I would need more than day days there, especially with the great nightlife too. Was it me or did those bikes look a bit on the big side for Chrissy ...good way of getting about a bit and what a way to finish off the day with a Walking the Dead cocktail, which looked a beast, almost as bad ass as that storm! When I was 20 I had my first ever holiday abroad in Dubrovnik with 2 brothers and although it was great, it was wasted on us, I just wish me and Mrs Metalman could go back there now for an extended holiday, it looks fabulous! I think swimming in the sea is one of our most happy places, and that spot looks amazing!! Morning Shell, Morning Pete. Croatia is beautiful isn't it? We went to Porec a few years back for a wedding, we were very impressed. It's just a little further up the coast from Ravinj. I'm assuming you flew in to Pula, the quickest airport to transit through in the world ever. I think it was 10 minutes from touchdown to getting in the taxi! 🤣 Did they have the chaps on the bikes with the little carriages on that you could get around on the coastal paths. We used to get them there and back to the marina each night. All the best guys and thank you for sharing your trip with us. 👍😎🌞
Hi Dave, We did indeed fly into pula, we chuckled reading this, as we didn't know what to expect at all, we were amazed to see how small the airport was! When we landed we peered out the aeroplane window and said in unison "is that it?"😂. Think it took us about the same ten minutes to get through and onto our transfer👌. This stretch of istrian coast really is stunning, we were so impressed, would love to explore more. We didn't spot the chaps on bikes around Rovinj, or we most certainly would have caught a lift as it was in the 30s when we visited 🥵. Amazingly not! They are all just perfectly balanced 😮 🪨. No glue in sight. We guess the coastal winds sometimes knock them over, but there are plenty of people willing to build another in its place. This was our favourite place we visited on the istrian coast, absolutely beautiful 😍
