I have the Echo string trimmer too, and will probably get this blower this weekend. Then both will be using the same gas mix. My local Home depot has it for $169 but it don't know if they are going to lower it for Memorial Day or if that is the sale price.
My 2620, basically the same blower does run well either until it warms up, I have yet to hear a good reason for that.

I did the exact same thing. Look up "we are coupons" might save you some $ home depot. 🤞👍
Do you recommend duck taping the the connecting points?
I used wire nuts & then wrapped completely with electrical tape. 🤞
You put the pipe in the wrong way that's why it's so loose. The piece that goes into the blower, there are slots that you line up.
After I saw it was backwards I since flipped it around. 🤞👍
