My go to is echo I love it. I use it all the time. Yes they have their quirks they last a few years and then off to the scrap pile but I will not change it.
Echo is fantastic. I have an echo 16 inch chainsaw , think it's 310cs something like that. Bi.tch is as least 12 years old if not more and I haven't been nice to her at all. She starts up one pull every time I need her ugly ass to cut something 😂. I've gone through 4 f@#king Ryobi gas tools 3, weed wackers,and a blower and none of them lasted more than 3 years. I babied them tools too cause I knew they're shit. My toro mower and weed wacker are tough as hell too. I'll be giving badger a try this week! Not sure if abusing my tools makes them tougher or what 😂

Still have the 1990's Stihl trimmer, but always took 15 mins to get going with starting spray. So I went to Home De Pot and found a blower, trimmer electric combo. Mainly just for the lawn. Now I will be using the 10yr old Huski 2 stroke for the leaves fo sho!
Looks almost identical to the Hyper Tough 53cc blower. I'm wondering if they come out of the same factory, but they put red trim on the Hyper Tough instead of blue.
I run mostly husqvarna but I have a echo timber wolf. I think most battery power equipment is basically non serviceable/repairable as well. Through away tools are best for the environment!!!
A major upgrade would be a pleated air filter, they last a VERY long time. I don't like the small backpack style, hangs too low on the back, you see ppl using these, all the time leaning forward to compensate . Should have a larger frame, and the footstep is too small too. Maybe they will correct these items as the brand evolves? 🙏🙏 BTW, my Stihl BR has the cruise control/throttle lock lever also (similar to this Badger, which you accidentally bumped off, hehe) which, if you pull it off carelessly, it will hit the shutoff way too easy for me. So I installed a quality toggle switch inline with the ground circuit, right at the base of the throttle handle, held to the throttle handle with a gear hose clamp. It will hold the ground/shut off circuit open if I hit the lever too hard, or bump it accidentally, to shut off position. All I do is have to flick the toggle switch with my thumb to on and off, when starting or stopping the engine, of course to run, the shutoff lever has to be in the run position, and to shut off, it has to be in the stop position. I've had it for years and not a single problem, I love it, just simple to use, and 100% effective. It makes the start/stop fully intentional, if you bump one unintentionally, the other saves you frustration of getting out of the blower, restarting and getting back in. Now, if I had the electric starting, I guess I wouldn't care 😅
12:26 Not hard to change at all and a lot cheaper to replace then a battery You can get a new carb, fuel lines, a fuel filter, spark plug, and an air filter way cheaper then 1 battery let alone those that have multiples to replace. and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to do the work. Ethanol free gas will even prolong the need to do all that in the first place.
Yes! You said it brother. I'll buy electric when I want to. Honestly, I already do have a 10" Bauer chainsaw from Harbor Freight. I just wanted to be able to cut some thicker brush and for like $75 on sale I got this thing that works pretty damn well. I don't really have a use for anything else at this moment. But hey, Da Bears finally showed up like I hoped they would. Claypool is a bitch though. Glad he jumped ship to swim with dolphins. Haha see what I did there? Yea bud.. I admit that I am keeping an eye out for a cheap hybrid to get back and forth to work and I have been eyeing up the electric blowers for use in the shop... BUT i wont do either if I am told i HAVE to.. My dad has that same saw and LOVES it. Electric makes sense as an OPTION.. anyway... BEAR DOWN (Thank god we got our win and wont go 0-17 this year)
If they would send me one i'd make a video too. I;m not going electric until they make me. I mow grass for a living and I don't think the batteries are there yet.
They aren’t. Capacity and longevity are keeping “electric” as a novelty for now. You should email them.. I bet they would send you some gear. They have a pretty strong marketing budget seems
So you couldn't even find an air filter.... How can you actually recommend something that you can't even get parts for? I understand not being able to get an engine or major part like a blower shroud or fan assembly. An air filter though..... come on!

If you are going to use it a lot, you get what you pay for. Buy the Stihl and get a 4 year warranty. That’s correct - 4 years.
