Every other character is going to get seconhand treatment which is a valid reason to not watch his guides but once again why were you not expecting him to do that? good guide! a tip: if you land 3+4 ~ 4 at any point and your opponent does anything except back roll immediately, you get a free UF3+4, and if they don’t quick stand after that then you get free 1+2, if you’re lucky and they press you’ll get the CH launch. If your opponent does not know this then you get a lot of damage just off of a 3+4~4 hit. extra tip: Laws heat smash wall splats + wall breaks and you can convert with junkyard or 1+2 and get huge damage with a long range armor move, if you whiff the first hit you get, there is a 2nd 1+2 follow up it has and that gets a lot of people trying to punish.
Great tip, ill add another one: It's possible to launch from ch DSS 4, you need to micro dash and use 1+2. Lot of players don't know about this they usually go for the guaranteed.
Got a little stuck at blue ranks watched this and really changed my whole approach, went to the lab for about an hour and now I'm smashing blue ranks with ease 😂 thank you so much 🙏 ws4 loop is exactly what I needed to confuse my opponents 😂
Beginner scrublord here. So, slide into nunchucks. I'm not entirely clear on what the earliest window is to turn Law around so he's facing them to fire off 1+2. At first I needed some distance to be ahead in frames, but I've seen players that do that trick even when they slide point blank. Someone help?
Amazing video, trying to corrently learn one of the combos but I can't understand what are the buttons that come after the SSL (running icon) Can someone explain?
I respect rewarding character loyalists and legacy players but man I was a Kazuya main in 7 who made the switch to law in 8, and that would have never happened if they kept legacy DSS. Mind you I can reliably do electrics and wavedash mixups; I just dont think the bruce lee god representative of Tekken should be super hard to approach and pick up. I was also going to say they can leave manual blue spark DSS in for vets, but hot take man I think current T8 DSS is not an easy mode freebie like most people think. It is very timing dependent and especially in an online environment I am prone to dropping blue spark DSS F3 at the wall, which has massively fucked me over at times
Help 10:47 time stamp my 43 F F3 wall ender never hits. I tried to micro dash but my opponent is already on the floor. Please I don’t know if it’s me or if the game is patched.
@@mwkan772 oh I’m mistake I meant 43 f3. I think my 43 doesn’t hit and when i try to buffer input fast from microdash to 43 F3 I end up doing FF3. I think the DSS F4 has a long animation? Maybe that’s why I can’t buffer the micro dash to 43 f3.
I have a question: when is the optimal time to throw out f1+2? It seems like such a short, stubby move that's easy to whiff, I'm honestly afraid to use it in matches. Same question for uf+2; I know the recovery time is short but it also doesn't have much reach so I don't know when to use it

He'd need some more variance in his moveset but honestly I have always loved the way he sounds personally. I am new to the game. Unable to rely on big combos due to opponents 70%+ on wifi. That being said the strings that ends into DSS are a good mix up casino fiesta. DSS has high mid low and grab. Have fun!
