Would ppl stop calling Ange naive. There is nothing naive about a manager with 25 years experience at top levels. He has his reasons for his decisions which he is under no obligation to explain in detail to fans.
Ange’s comment pre Coventry was he had hoped to give some of the players more minutes but the PL games hadn’t panned out in a way to allow him. If he thought we’d be in comfortable positions at home to Arsenal and away to Newcastle so much so that he could bring those guys on, there’s no other word for it than naive. If his plan was to give minutes when we’re in a comfortable position against Newcastle away and Arsenal home, what other word is there but naive cos there isn’t a single one of us who thought we’d be so comfortable in those games….
Love these podcasts very entertaining and informative. Ange made a good point regarding signing more experienced players that would block the path of younger ones getting valuable experience and game time.
Cheers Dave! It's great to have young players on the bench and the current crop are excellent. There's an argument that we might need a little more experience but one thing at a time eh.
Ange's enthusiasm for attacking football and physical aggressive pressing stays very much the same in most games, but i have read it never changes, i think he does as he does tweak his plan to suit certain games. I did find in the game against Brentford he gave Madders far more freedom to play a sort of 'roving game' and he did start some his runs from very deep and completely lose his markers and thrived. I think it was about the beat game he has played for us because of Ange changing things around a little. And in the Coventry game he changed things around by bringing 2 of his senior players late in the game, something he does not do if the game is going to his plan. @@EOGTHFC I really don't know, the reason i've never heard of you is because i've really not heard of you! Perhaps it is a matter of you simply being better known by hanging around longer and being positive about Spurs, as we do have some very negative fans these-days? But cheers and good luck!! It is not naive that he didn't bring on Moore instead of Werner. We don't know what happens behind the scenes. Maybe ange doesn't think he's ready for the big games
Romero should have gone down and he probably would have given the free kick. He stayed on his feet. I don't believe we can say the ref should have give it because of that
Every single player nowadays are over coached. It's not just the goalkeepers, at the same time. He is expected to play out from the back. That's what he did 😂

This pisses me off to no end too. Brighton literally has a 31 year old manager and he is yet to be hit with the N bomb ffs
😂 If I had a dollar for every N word used against Ange.
Whenever I see "naive", I find if you replace it with "scary" you get something much closer to the person's opinion.
@@barneyhall2753 exactly. Even calling him stubborn, one track minded, rigid etc... is more accurate than naive.

That was more like it! Great energy today lads, mirrored the energy from the game (the Brentford one, that is).
Ha, yep, we were excellent and long may it continue.
Micky’s hammys are the most valuable asset at the club atm. 😂
Haha yep!
My favourite tottenham podcast
Appreciate it!

He's definitely tweaked things this season, moving to a 4-3-3 for example, which has definitely freed up Maddison and it showed on Saturday.
Thanks for the best spurs conversation to be found on RUclips.
You're welcome!
Why many Tottenham fan doesn't know your you tube exist. Excellent video
I know right! Tell your friends...
I wonder why that is?
We're new? We need to be aggressive on social media? We're not very good?
Which one(s)?

@@nevillemignot1681 Oh well I got pelters for a being a bit negative after Newcastle... but we like to say it how it is on here.

Bentancur ban will be domestic games including cups as it’s an FA ban. Can play EL.
Yep, we got there in the end!
Jonny is quiet on the tweets with stats without context this week
No, they have context. You just disagree with it!
Anyway, pop along and see some nice tweets you'll agree with this week.
Does Jake ever stop talking over the others ? does he ever stop talking ?
He was very excited we won...
Poor bloke can’t get a word in edgeways with me there to be fair
