Love your style of analyzing this song. They started off sounding like Maiden, but were very different. Saw them live many times. Always incredible. I always had to listen for something in the song to prove they weren't "lip-syncing". They were that tight. "Della Brown" is a different kind of favorite for me.
Great reaction. This brought back so many memories. Geoff still performs solo. They had a tremendous amount of turmoil which is sad. The band is NOT the same IMO. Some think the new lineup is better. Some say just as good and some say not as good. Fun fact, I went to see them live at Irvine Meadows amphitheater in 1988 for the “Operation: Mindcrime”tour. There was a heavy metal radio station called KNAC 105.5. They were doing a trivia give away. If I answered the question correctly, I received 2 front row tickets and 2 backstage passes to see the band. The question was: “Why was John a happy man?” I was the correct caller and new the answer🤘🏼🥳. I won’t give you the answer, but it’s in the song, “Spreading the Disease” on Operation: Mindcrime. I HIGHLY suggest that you listen to that album from start to finish, IN ORDER lol. Its a “concept album” with a story and a mystery that the listener is supposed to solve as the songs progress. It’s not only one of the greatest rock albums of all time, but in my opinion, one of the greatest albums PERIOD of all time. So I’ve got a few suggestions for you, if that’s ok? 1) Operation: Mindcrime- the entire album from start to finish, in order. 2) The Lady Wore Black 3) Nightrider 4) Deliverance 5) Prophecy 6) Walk in the Shadows 7) The Whisper 8) Gonna get close to you 9) Neue Regel 10) London 11) Screaming in Digital 12) Best I Can 13) The Thin Line 14) Jet City Woman 15) Della Brown 16) Another Rainy Night 17) Silent Lucidity (Top 5 best. Slow song but EXCELLENT!🤘🏼🙌🏼🥳) 18) Anybody Listening? 19) Last Time in Paris 20) Bridge That’s my top suggestions. I’m sure others will have their feedback, which is awesome🤘🏼. I love to hear other fans thoughts, favorites and interpretations. I really hope you take the time to listen to Operation: Mindcrime in it’s entirety in order. Any of us fans (including me🙂🤘🏼)would LOVE to answer any questions that you have about the band. Excellent video! This band (in its original line up) is really creative, talented and addicting, again in my opinion. Have fun and thanks so much for this reaction. Brought me back to some amazing memories. 🙏🏼🥳🤘🏼🙌🏼🇺🇸❤️🇯🇵✌️🤘🏼
Thank you so much for the info and for all the suggestions! We'll definitely check out the entirety of Operation: Mindcrime sometime in the future. In the meantime, we'll check out some songs from their other albums for sure 😊
Absolutely amazing and lovely reaction!! Early Queensryche is so awesome and I recommend the Operation: Mindcrime album too!! You two are wonderful and lovely!! 😉🤘🤘❤️❤️❤️
Great reaction ladies! Unleash The Archers did a cover of this song. There is also video of Brittney Slayes singing this cover in a karaoke bar ruclips.net/video/280DRqoGyLw/видео.html And don't forget that BAND-MAID already released 3 music video of their new album: "Manners", "Warning!" and "After Life" A new one (the last one I presume) is coming on Tuesday Thank you :) Edit: you have to check out more Queensrÿche. Their concept album Operation: Mindcrime is a masterpiece.
That was the first song off their first EP. It blew America out of the water. They are STILL active and are STILL putting out great music though Geoff Tate was replaced 15 years ago or so. Great reaction!
Queensryche is a great band! "The killing words" is my favorite song by them. They also have a story concept album called "Operation Mindcrime". You should check it out. Love you girls! I Subscribed after watching your reactions to Unleash The Archers album review for Apex. Wondering if you two will be doing an album reaction/review for Abyss?(follow up album to Apex. Continuing the story of the Monarch & the Immortal.) I really enjoyed it!
Operation Mindcrime is hard to do reactions to, though it has been done. Well worth taking an hour to listen to, as it is consistently rated one of the best concept albums ever. It tells a tragic story spanning revolutionary hubris to doomed love, from fist-pumping anthems to some of the most hauntingly beautiful despair ever put into music. Every song is a masterpiece in its own right, but together they are incredible.
A great 80s band, thanks for the reaction guys, keep them coming, and I know you'll get to it eventually but some Stevie Ray Vaughan life without you live at Capitol theater
If i was forced to pick a favorite band of all time, you reacted to their music in this video. Try to stay comfortable being how you naturally are. Your analyzing & reactions have been honest & fun to watch. Every QR album was very different than the last. i am too tired to share a lot of thoughts, but i will say that their first album (not their first EP) highlighted the insane vocal capability & creativity of Geoff Tate (lead singer). The last song of "The Warning" very well might be THE Most dynamic vocal performance in one track throughout recording studio history.... Roads To Madness I will keep watching your reactions. 😎👍
Great reaction to an all-time metal classic... loved it! If you want to check out a relatively new band (active for about 4 years) taking almost all metal classics into account while having a modern sound I kindly suggest LOVEBITES. They are an all-female metal band from Japan featuring a kick-ass metal-head on bass, a pocket-size nuclear power plant on drums, two insane shredders on guitar and some soaring genre fitting vocals. I am sure you will not be disappointed :-)
i dont Believe in love, suite sister mary, from the operation mindcrime album. Take hold of the flame from the album the warning their 1st album is a must
Pantera - 5 Minutes Alone (Yokohama, Japan) Live Pantera played their last show in Yokohama, Japan at the 'Beast Feast' festival on August 28, 2001. This would be the last time members of Pantera performed together before the ‘Columbus Nightclub Shooting‘. RIP Dimebag Darrell
You girls kick Ass .....Geoff Tate was probably the best metal Vocalist at this time......better than Bruce or Rob ......Try Child of Fire from this show .
you should check out Britteny Slayes version at a karaoke bar after a full show.. love QueensRyche!!! you really need to check out the whole Operation Mindcrime Album.. best concept album ever Imo,, cheers! tc n be safe ruclips.net/video/280DRqoGyLw/видео.html

Geoff Tate the singer has such an incredible range with his vocal abilities and some very cool progressive metal
You simply must listen to the entire Queensryche Operation Mindcrime album.
More Queensryche is a must ! My suggestions are 1. Walk in the shadows and 2.Empire

Check out Eyes of a Stranger, the closing track to their epic Operation: Mindcrime album.
