Which means that you can transfer your data from that drive to the new laptop. The explained problem could range from damaged power button to faulty motherboard. But is very unlikely that HDD/SSD and RAM are faulty.

A couple things about getting a new laptop and repairs: 1. Most repair shops will overcharge you and guilt you into getting things you don't need. Trust me I've done lots of them. 2. Buying a new *GOOD* laptop is a luxury and a waste of money, generally speaking. 3. New cheap laptops in store are horrendous. I would highly recommend you get an aftermarket/used laptop. You can get incredibly good laptops for way cheaper just because they are a couple years old. Also, it sounds like your HDD/SSD is most likely fine. Take it out and either put it in your desktop computer or get a SATA to USB cable.

I bought my laptop for about $400 a couple of years back off Wal-Mart and it seems to be on its last limb. I shoot for the cheapest i5 laptops within reach, hahahah. Love that cemetery, the ones in New England are downright spooky - take care and stay safe!

Last time I searched for a laptop, I compared specs on different choices from Newegg for 12 hours. Now I’ve got one that is built for outdoor use, that was best price for what it had with it at the time. The new IPad with m4 processor is pretty dang impressive though.

When I saw the title I thought it was sarcasm. But you really don't know what to do. You bought a disposable model for ultra cheap. So dispose of it. Buy a new one and look after it next time. That is what you can do. I buy used macbooks which are a couple years out of date and expect them to last 5 years. They often last longer. I've gone through 4 since 2003. The interface will be a huge leap for you but I learned it by playing with the settings in the apple menu and changing each setting one at a time. I have never had a security breach. No viruses. No crashes. Ever.
if it became rusty, maybe its the sceen, try to get a cheap repair from a qualified technician 50 or 60 quid or search for some repair tips here and there

I'm curious how you come up with video ideas. What does your brain tell itself before hitting record that gives you the confidence to document what your thoughts are revolving around. You seem like a very stream of conscious person, so I'm wondering if you even like structure in your videos, let alone a baseline reason in your message
For what you need, just stick with a latitude that is used in good condition visually, they are built for the office, im guessing its 6th gen intel maybe 7th? so if its the same, its more of the same, if you get something similar sub £150 you can probably get an 8th gen intel but im sure you know your needs.
I'd look into getting a Framework laptop, it's fully modular so if any of the components on the laptop break it's all replaceable. If Framework release better parts and you want to upgrade you can just buy a new part and put it inside the laptop rather than having to replace the whole laptop, so the idea is that it will last for many years. I got for my Uni course and have been very happy with it. It came like a Lego kit so I could build it and that was fun
It's not really relevant to the actual contents of the video,, but why do you download and add black video bars to your video? Why don't you just export them in 4:3? If you add the black bars manually the video will look pretty weird on an actual 4:3 display because it will still render the border.
