It was an tragic coincidence- he sees her at the Halloween store and then her ex tows her car as a prank, leaving her without a ride. Heartbreaking and brilliant song.

i think its an impulse. the next song is someone elses perspective maybe an ex. norm got to give her “a ride home” bc her car got towed by her ex. so then he was like hmm might as well take her away. so scary. this album is so beautiful but man its dark.

You've come along way from "The Bearer of Bad New." It's album makes me thinks of the 70's and cruise music. This one most imparticualar.
You have a lot of really good bass lines this album. Why are you intent on breaking hearts? lol Your twists in your stories are great though and love how the twist to this song is on the following track. So good.
