andy is the most listened artist in my playlist lately, his soft mellow voice melts me down. it's so soothing. i love you andy and thanks for making such lovely music. 💗
The little Piano Tones.... love it so much!
I just fell in love.... oh man
One of my favorite performances of all time
Replying to my old alternate account to like and say that it still is one of my favorite performances of all time.
Yup, back on this account just to re-acknowledge and re-affirm. Literally the best live performance ever.
@@ignas9218 Back again. It’s great. 😌
time and time again these guys deliver. lots of great songs and performances.
I just cried in the line at Starbucks while listening to this even though I could hardly understand a word - wtf?
It's an absolute blast to the emotions when you start "hearing" the feelings in the musical lines. It's not whimsy; it's apocalypse at a breath. "..Is it as bad as it seems?" is basically spelling out the uh-oh of his *has to be failing* relationship. An amazing track!
He plays it differently live everytime!
My second favourite song ever!!! I love every version of it!!! Andy is amazing!!!✨🎼💔
What’s the first?
@@chrisbessey358 “Dust kids”!
@@anaflorentina3747 Funny, he thought it didn't fit in with the album and almost cut it! :) Happy accidents!
@@anaflorentina3747 Mine’s “Early to the Party”. This live version sure gives it a run for its money though!
Light sleeper
Easy dreamer
Do you dream of me
When I'm far away
Do I drift further every day
When i drink my rivers, drag my feet, and drown in my dreams
It's not as bad as it seems
Dig deeper
Daylight dreamer
I'll try to dream of you
When you're far away
When you seem further every day
I'll drink my rivers, drag my feet, and drown in my dreams
It's not as bad as it seems
Light sleeper
Easy dreamer
When you dream of me
Am I far away
Do I inch closer every day
Do I drink my rivers, drag my feet, and drown in my dreams
Is it as bad as it seems?
Longtime thanks

Meu Deus da coisa mais linda!!!!!!😍😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭❤
In 2x this is a banger
I thought it read 'Drink my liver', xD Great song as always.
Lol I mean in both instances he’s talking about getting piss drunk, so that interpretation still works!
so fucking good. God damn
Oh my

oh, boy
Oh I miss the clarinet in this song...
Felix Lipski but the Keyboard tones make me feel like I’m floating on a cloud.
I came here for this comment, boy its like a kick to the chest
Kinda, but dammit they make it work without the clarinet. I love this version. You make beautiful music, Mr. Shauf.

ilovejustinvernon wish granted
ilovejustinvernon he did last week!!! :3
his accent is so hot
what kind of guitar does he have? can anyone tell?
+Skye Callow Harmony H82 - Rebel
It's a 1966-ish Harmony Rebel.
Skye Callow Harmony Rebel H1
I think it's electric
Any one have any idea how he gets that tone?
They are miking an old time machine that he sends his guitar through. The sound travels right back to the 20s and then probably through an old Studer-desk. Just guessing.
Yes, I spoke with him after a show once. The old Harmony guitar (DeArmond pickups) contribute a bunch. He's also using a very short delay with the feedback set as low as possible, a vibrato pedal on a mild and fairly slow setting, perhaps a room setting on a reverb pedal (that one's just speculative), and he's playing through a vintage Roland JC-120 (solid state). EQ contributes as well
There are other factors too -- short delay on the vocals, another (Silvertone) guitar with DeArmonds, vintage Hofner bass, dry drums, vintage Wurly...etc
Flatwound strings
Holy fuck really looks like Sam Beam of Iron and Wine on guitar there...
Anyone else?
Also this is perfection
Dude never spit the marbles from your mouth. It sounds amazing

:'(
he... looks like ellen page
lol
I hear this guy's a genius but I can't tell, he enunciates like Elmer Fudd.
I have no illusions about this guy's skill, he's clearly far better than I am and I have no argument with that. Having said that, the way he enunciates is very definitely a stylistic choice that, in my opinion, is more of a distraction than an asset.
Carlos Gouveia he's very soft-spoken, and he's Saskatchewan, and he's shy. His voice and enunciation are both beautiful to me... it draws you in closer, and it's vulnerable.
Zachary Wilson and it's funny to make fun of. But good music... But still funny
makes me cringe when he pronounces his "ER's" like that
you don't like his commoner speak?
