Reminds me of when I built my stand in 2001. There was no RUclips. I made it all up, based on the way I wanted things to work. Sure there were a few snafu’s but this is how we learn. Only I knew why I used a certain type of hinge, or that I should have put my shelves in before making the cage. Came out nice.
Love that you showed the whole process. Mistakes, fixes, rethinking and problem solving. Im probably going to do a hanger style door so i can just lift the doors off when im finishing up the build on my 150g
Love this build! Looks great and the fact you used basic tools is exactly what i was looking for. Sorry in advance cause I’m going to copy this build. But smaller for my 55 gallon!
Nice job, probably going to paint our next one like you. On our 75g I bought engineered hardwood flooring and did paneling. Looks nice but added a stupid amount of money to the project
Have you seen the totally finished product? I have a couple more videos. When totally finished it was about $600 😢 but that’s still better than what seems to be $900 or more for a prebuilt one with less features and no personalization
@@Boost-EdAutomotive I had to disconnect my tank stand cos it was some IKEA tv unit looked it up it was only 30 kg max I had about 80kg on there took it down before something bad happens

I try to show most of the mistakes but too much and people won’t watch it

Thank you
Nicely done!
Thanks! Atticus will love this tank when he comes to visit ❤️
Definitely learned a bunch from seeing these vids. Gotta get my tool game up for my tank.
Get those tools and get creative! I hope you build something you love
Looks great!
Thank you! It’s basically finished in the living room with a tank on top of it. Just haven’t edited the video yet
Dance Gavin Dance hell yeah 🔥

I know how it is!!! I cheaped out on a lot and my stand was still $500-600
How much all cost?

@waatao9856 ok yeah. To build just a basic stand unpainted you could get away with under $200 but adding everything else it just adds up fast
