My favorite video’s are the one’s without any music. Minimal explanation, assume that if you are cutting timber, pre-drilling, and running a screw gun most people understand those concepts. My favorite parts are the sounds of the equipment, boards hitting the table, and the sound of a nail gun. I also appreciate seeing blunders, and screw ups. This may make the video long but it makes you more relatable . Sorry I had to mute the music.
Hey y’all. I have to apologize. I have not been paying attention to this video because honestly I have sold the tank and the stand. Life changes and we go in new directions so much. I wish I would of seen this video was such a help to so many. Again my apologies. Thank you all for the likes and great comments.
Thanks so much for the video! I will be making my 20 long stand this weekend! I also noticed hopefully a helpful tip! Since the bottom of the shelf is the same L&W as the bottom frame, if you placed the frame on top of the plywood, you could easily trace around the 2x4's to cut it perfectly to fit. I didn't think of that until I saw your video. I'll try that out to see how well it works!
Epic build I shall be using this build for my 220 only difference being I will fix the batten’s to the wall for extra safety as I’ll be on the first floor cheers 👍
I'm getting a 110 G and this is the stand I will build. Thanks. Your use of glue is commendable. I've seen some builds without glue. Not a good idea. Like the music.
Question. At 1:36 why did you screw from the outside instead of the inside leg? It seems you would have more grab screwing from the opposite side. Nice build.
Question, if I have tiny gaps on support pieces from outside, like 1-2 millimeter at same places, will all stand level up after I fill tank with water. Just worried. Thanks
The video turned out really good, I learned a lot by watching you build the stand. I have a new aquarium an have decided to build my own stand. What camera did you use for your video? What editing software did you use to edit your RUclips video? Thank you!!
Did good job, it a 4 foot stand, you really didn't need the middle supports. You have 8 braces on corners that will hold 4800-6400 lbs. Two middle is another 1200-1600 lbs. After 4 feet then I would start with middle braces. You think a 72 inch stand has middle supports and that's at 36 inches center
Good Music. Thnx for the video.

Turned out really nice. Thanks for showing us your mess ups. I think that can help many others to avoid making the same mistakes along the way.

Really nice build. Is there a part 2 to this?
Looks like you're tryna build a stand too huh 😂 when you starting a reef?
HAZAHHH!! Great build man

Cut list?
I am looking at buying same tank. What the overall dimensions of your stand? How do you plan on putting sump in? From side? BTW looks great.
William Rhodes I built it 48x24x36 I think. And yes there will be a door on the right.

What wood is he using?
@@Carlosrap36505 2x4 pine for frame , then plywood for top and bottom shelf
Where is part 2
Я по-другому скрепляю бруски между собой и то-же прочно все держится.
What kind of wood is that pls?
Im no expert but it looks like pine 2x4s to me
