    Thank you so much! We just had a plumber here today to install a new cartridge in the shower because it was leaking. Before he left, I checked that the leak was gone and said "A-OK!". Then I took a shower a little while ago and there was little-to-no hot water. I didn't even know about the scald setting, but I followed your directions and fixed the problem. I had called the plumber but still haven't heard back. Thanks again. Much appreciated!

    Just moved into a new apartment that was completely remodeled and the shower just wasn't getting as hot as the other faucets and I noticed that the handle seemed to not to be going far enough.I do give myself credit for figuring out that it was something to do with the handle and so then to RUclips to see if that was even a possibility. And look what I found! I followed your instructions and it worked!

    Most of the time, you don't need to fully remove the set screw to remove the handle. Loosen it enough just to allow removal of handle, and you should be good. Covering the drain, though, is always a good idea, because you never know what you might accidentally drop.

    That's probably my problem because my shower is not getting hot but I noticed in the sump under the bathtub it gets full of warm water and it floods the hallway 🤷🤦

    what is the acceptable range of temperature for the shower water?

    • @thesuburbanhomenut1183
      @thesuburbanhomenut1183  Год назад

      My understanding is the water temperature should be between 130-140 F. It's best to check the owner's manual for your water tank. Thanks for watching.
