I plan to build myself a telescope and this would be an excellent, excellent tool to test lens optic divergence and how variant the color passage&lens polarity will be with such a tunable laser. With this it would come in really handy as a handy testing device.where could I find one to buy for this purpose.
I have another video where I compare it to laser stores $300 one. I bought a used one, which is good because it's had some wear. It still works, but you got to mess with it to get the mirrors in place ( light percussive maintenance). That other video hasn't been seen as much, but dig around through my crap load of videos and you can find it.
Nahh, they make great quality stuff, you get what you pay for. Their holsters are stainless steel which will last a long time before rusting and even then you could paint it once it does with primer meant for stainless and top coat. But stainless lasts longer then most things, many many years if treated right. Harsh chemicals such as chlorides and exposing it to iron will speed up rusting but normal scratches from anything else won’t. Also the detail they put into them is very good and the electronics they use are good quality
RGB Total Output: 500mW Power of Red 635nm: 200mW Power of Green 525nm: 130mW Power of Blue 455nm: 170mW If I use a lens I could burn with each color, and could probably burn with all of them (white) with a lens. The powers they chose for each color laser was more to do with balancing out the final white color you get. I have some other videos with their more powerful watt+ diodes. I'll have to do a burning video at some point.
i really wanted one, then i saw the price tag and just looking at it caused severe pain
Yeah, lasers are fun and this looks fun combining the colors, but I'd rather eat.
I've now dropped the price to $1,000 usd. Still steep
(sanwu lasers world's first RGB laser) has a price tag of 1300 $ !! So much costly but for laser lover , i guess, worth it !

That $800 price tag should have come WAY DOWN by now. This laser’s been out for a couple years. Need some healthy competition! 😄😄

That is so bad ass!!
Can it burn?
Can I use this as a DEW?
That's super cool, i'm wondering what this can be used for
Making projector-based presentations more interesting? Also, with RGB, there's potential for long-distance spectrometer scans.
Blinding people
@@MilesEdgeworth129Assuming the objective of the presentation is to showcase the luminosity of an arc welding spot, sure!
