I feel you on donating milk. With my son I was an overproducer and didn't donate so I stopped pumping at 4 months postpartum. At that point I had a freezer stash of over 1000oz and was able to breastfeed my son for almost 2 years. Now, with my daughter, I'm still pumping 7 months postpartum because I've been donating to mommas on a local Facebook group. I've donated to 3 different moms, and the current mom getting my extra milk is a mom with a disabled baby.
A true blessing for those babies! I had complications and I had to use the bottle, and I remember feeling so guilty at the time, so when I see women able to share such a beautiful and helpful bounty it warms my heart so much.
I’m really sorry you had complications not fun to go through. I am really glad my video could bring a warm feeling to you amazing. Thank you for watching. Have a good week!
Shout out to you!!!! My twins were micro-premies, and honestly the whole process was traumatizing! They were my first and the stress of they having to stay in the NICU and not take them home was wild. Because of donors my babies got the nutritions they needed! You’re awesome for doing that, God bless!
I’m so sorry that you had to go through such a traumatic experience. ! I’m really glad your babies were able to get all the nutrients they needed. Thank you for watching
Noelle - I am only a few minutes in, but wanted to comment. My boys are grown now (22 and 20) but I was unable to breastfeed. What a Godsend this would’ve been to me! ❤ I was a stay at home Mama, and a homeschooling Mama - and I started a small soup ministry in our homeschool co-op, and a rotating meal ministry for our directors. You’re right - sometimes it can feel hard to see what to do. THANK YOU for this video and for the encouragement. ❤ xo
I’m sorry you weren’t able t breastfeed I know not every women can the reason for donating they need more donors. Amazing that you did a soup ministry that’s lovely. Thank you for sharing! 🤗
Thanks for being understanding of moms who can’t or don’t breastfeed for various reasons. You wouldn’t believe how much judgment and pressure I got with my first baby, 16 years ago, when I just couldn’t sustain breastfeeding. I’m in awe of you being able to produce so much milk, and doing all that pumping for others! I wish I could have had breast milk donated for my babies.
It's so sad how much judgment moms face, I'm so glad you could do what was best for your baby and yourself. Life is not black and white many things can happen. Im really glad I could do this for other families.
Is there a way that you will allow those of us in this community to help you get a freezer so that we can help babies who need breast milk even if we're not able to donate directly ourselves
This is so amazing! I had complications with my supply with both of my kids, but I did what I could to at least supplement as much as I could 🤍 You’re helping so many babies! 🥰
