just a note, this is a great aircraft but it is worth just putting the breaking to a keyboard key or something. If you have pedals with toe breaks thats the best solution, but if not just map it to 2 keys and be done with it.
I don't think the FADEC is actually properly modelled in the default version of this. There's an improvement mod that models it as well as improving other aspects of this though over on the old dot to website along with another mod for the DA62 that does the same. Very much recommended if you fly this or the 62
It seems like a lot of the planes in this video series aren't behaving as you would expect. From doing a bit of research, it seems like the recommendation is to install community made add-ons to make each of the planes more realistic. It would be interesting to see how this affects your evaluation of each of the planes.
Nice vid..I'm going for my PPL and the two schools I've narrowed it down to basically one uses DA40NG's and the other the classic C172. Can't decide which way I want to go so this helps
Thank you, I really appreciate these videos! The one thing that really gets on my nerves in this plane is the prop RPM going into the red with higher power settings. Shouldn't the FADEC handle this? We are now at SU8 with MSFS, and I assume this problem still persists ...
Love the DA40NG in MSFS. Currently doing an around the world flight (real weather and time). Flying it along with the DA62 for over water and cold climate flights. Thanks for the review.
How's the world trip going? I'm doing it in the DA62 and just passed 100 hours flight time so far and loving it. Great planes and a pleasure to fly the diamond family.
@@othmanal-ghamdi9340 choose whichever one you like. Try them all out until you find one that you like. I prefer general aviation but some people prefer big airliners. Whatever works for you.
Good video! I fly the diamond 40 XLS and I wish someone would make an XLS for Microsoft flight simulator. The NG is very good especially with the realism mod but it would be great to be able to practice mixture management and leaning in the simulator. The NG has just a simple power lever and no controls for the propeller or mixture. Has anyone heard of an XLS in the works? I know there are several 4P3D and explain

I am just new to the world, can you advise, whay aircraft to choose, cessna 172 g1000 or to go with da40 ? So confused
