Which ones did you like the most?
A real man wouldn't pay that much for his house. They're just fancy cars that look like a truck on the outside. The thing I liked about the old trucks was they were heavy duty and they were simple. Robot-man is out of touch
So how about starting an own restoration project instead of buying ready made solutions?
@@automotiveterritory just wish I could go back in time and buy a new one
Yeah, same here.
I like the videos and the material but I totally agree with other comments - you need to have somebody else to narrate your videos. Honestly! It;s hard to listen the pronounce (unfortunately).
my car is like a beautiful woman, but she is old!
A Cougar then!!!
I plan on restoring a 1980s sukuzi samurai
Sounds like a cool project.
@@automotiveterritory I perfer older vehicles plus I'm in a state were they dont have inspections or smog checks, that would mean if I wanted to be a dick to the EPA I would remove EGRs and DEF systems including O2 sensors and the EPA has no manpower to inspect my physical property that would be in violation of the 4th and 14th amendment
Don't do it unless absolutely necessary, though 😆
@@automotiveterritory I'm in Alabama most residents wouldnt pass a inspection or an smog check what makes you think the EPA will enforce all regulations or go house yo house to check what modification is under the hood of a vehicle in Alabama 😂🤣
I have done 2 of these very fun and affordable. Great project on a budget. I have shifted my focus now to a 86 k5 blazer. I was so happy to see it on this list.
That M715 tho...
It's an amazing model for sure.
What happened to Trucks?
They just fall apart and sensors going off
Did they stop evolving in the 90s
10 grand to fix a fender ffs
So what option do we have now? Besides looking for older models in decent shape?
Just make a truck today with no AC power brakes power steering power windows power locks or radio. Limit top speed to 85 mph top speed big brakes and rims like the international and say $20.000 with no options available and as is at that price
Taking consideration modern standards, it's very unlikely that a truck like this will hit the market.
Talking about Mens Trucks , Deserves a Mans VOICE. 🙄
220k for that chevy naw more like 50k max
Do you think you'd be able to arrange such a restomod project for this budget?
I'll take 2 of each. 1 for each foot.
Which ones are you getting?
@@automotiveterritory
Every damn one of 'em.
How many feet do you have???
@@automotiveterritory Only just my two. But their desire's are many. ...tTt...
My truck
Which one of these?
Either Jeep will do.
Very impressed by the Art of it, not impressed by the mechanics of it. Fossil Fuel polluters! 😞
Do you believe in the future of all-electric trucks?
A volcano spews more pollution than one million of fossil fuel auto.
I like fossil fuel autos
What they do not tell you about resto mods is that the trucks DONOT meet any Federal or older state regulations for the time the truck was originally built or at the time of the resto mod. Popping a new Corvette engine in an old truck and claiming because the truck was built before 1974, no emissions are required. Check the steering columns they put in a resto mods, hope your not killed by it in a collision.
Do you think that these should be equipped with modern safety tech too?
Todays designs are terrible.

click bait.
How is that?
There’s an ad ever two minutes. Nobody does that.
I dont subscribe, because I am an older man, who cannot understand robot talk. Sorry, trucks are nice, but
Excuse me, what kind of talk?
Why don't you speak a little clear so we can understand you? Hopefully you're not a robo voice with an accent. I am not listening to your video.
Well, the vast majority of viewers do understand me clearly,so I'm at a loss
To chci a všechno.
Is this R2D2 narrating? WTF
Hope you enjoyed it.
Dude has a creepy voice
It's all I've got
They have lost their way: from the same-old, ugly neutral colors to the horrific-looking designs applied to EVERY vehicle in the name of "safety", the time of vehicles is forever gone. And video games aren't any better... Yet.
What do you think of these old trucks that were updated with new components?
👍I adored these, as they were the complete polar opposite of what is offered en masse today. So kudos to the companies who made them and you/your team who covered them.🎂
True, true.
All of them are a bit over priced.
How much do you think models like these should go for?
Lol
Cool trucks but Can’t listen to the robot voice
Some of these are pretty cringy
Just like original pickup trucks of the past?
@@automotiveterritory Tbh I dig the 4x4 ones, they're not bad. I just think that "modernizing" them with all these electronics kinda ruins the aesthetic and usefulness of them.
Bad enough nee "trucks" nowadays are basically luxury mall-crawlers, but ruining iconic classics with the same stuff? come on.
What if these classic ones got only modern engine upgrades?
OLD
Yep, old trucks upgraded with new tech.
