This rap bar is a play on words and likely contains a double entendre. 1. "No Cosby shit" refers to Bill Cosby, an American comedian and actor who was convicted of sexual assault. The line "No Cosby shit" indicates that the rapper is not engaging in any questionable or non-consensual behavior akin to Cosby's actions. 2. "If they sleep on me thank f them" means that if people underestimate or ignore the rapper, they don't mind. "Sleeping on someone" in hip-hop slang means to underestimate or overlook their talent. The rapper is saying that if people don't recognize their talent, it's their loss, and the rapper doesn't need their validation. Overall, the bar asserts the rapper's confidence in their abilities while also making a clear statement about personal integrity.
Depends on your definitions, and don't get me wrong, I was disappointed too, expecially since I think cole orchestrated the whole thing to begin with but that's a seperate thing But end of the day coles always wanted his music to speak for itself and it's all well and good that cole couldn't flatline Kenny in a Diss track, but if he can turn the fall off around and flatline him with an album that's just better than anything Kennys done then there's no arguing that "they'll look you dead in your face and really act like you don't do it at the level that you do it, that's why sometimes you gotta come through and just do it at the level that you do it in front of everyone's face" I know he hasn't dropped the fall of yet but my point is this apology doesn't mean he can't be a problem, he always has the option of simply being better than everyone else

Diddy was pissed and decided to spill his drink on Kendrick but Cole, 6'4 giant grabbed his hand and threw hands with him right there. He picked a real fight for Kendrick and even talked about it on "Let go my hand". If this doesn't get y'alls trust back then y'all not real fans
"I come from the Ville I turn villans to Victims"... Cole fuckin world
He is the best of all time... I really don't understand how the whole entire world doesn't see this by now! In his whole entire career I have not heard one wack verse from Cole... tell me who else you can say that about except..... Jadakiss.
Aged like milk 🥛
His apology takes nothing away form his catalog and actually adds to his integrity but nice try
@@impacc4182 actually it takes away from every song he references: wanting smoke, being that guy, being at the top. I didn’t try anything.
@@user-so4jf7mi1x All these dudes Drake is beefing with actually don’t like each other meanwhile Cole and Kendrick are friends. That’s why the worst he could do was go for his catalog and I’m sure he don’t want the crown that bad to appeal to hip hop cornball fans like I said nice try
@@user-so4jf7mi1xy’all mistake Cole saying stuff like that for him wanted beef with people. It’s all metaphors saying he is the best rapper. Meaning he can literally rap the best. And if you listen to his latest mixtape he proved it again. Y’all are just some weird cornballs who think disses mean you’re the best. So strange
That bar sent shockwaves through hip hop lol.
@@hsVDhajBLWK nothing basic about it
Some of the bars on that Johnny P's caddy especially that Einstein bar, that line right there gotta be top 5 of all time and it ain't 5.
Wonder if he still feel da same
It took too long for people to give Cole his REAL FLOWERS. After this off season feature run no one can dispute it
“It’s time for him to prove that he’s a problem”
well he proved he WASN’T a problem
Depends on your definitions, and don't get me wrong, I was disappointed too, expecially since I think cole orchestrated the whole thing to begin with but that's a seperate thing
But end of the day coles always wanted his music to speak for itself and it's all well and good that cole couldn't flatline Kenny in a Diss track, but if he can turn the fall off around and flatline him with an album that's just better than anything Kennys done then there's no arguing that
"they'll look you dead in your face and really act like you don't do it at the level that you do it, that's why sometimes you gotta come through and just do it at the level that you do it in front of everyone's face"
I know he hasn't dropped the fall of yet but my point is this apology doesn't mean he can't be a problem, he always has the option of simply being better than everyone else
@ImMimicute "flatline him with an album" 😂
Cole fans deserve all this cause yall have insane excuses for everything.
Dot has 3 classics. Cole has none.
Cole has a weak catalogue & Cole dissing TPAB caused all of this & you think....😂😂😂😂
@@mannmuzo1847 love an illiterate reply, makes its real easy, did you miss the part where I was talking about the fall off and made it clear the fall off isn't here yet?
Did you also miss the part where I in no way excused what happened?
Also, real talk, coles discog is WAY better than folks give him credit for, 2014 was kinda mid with a couple outliers but 4YEO was great, KOD was like a solid 7.5/10 and both TOS is an easy 8.5 and MDL is a solid 9, with the artistic development we've seen from cole I wouldn't be all that shocked if TFO was some crazy 10/10 drop
This what people don’t understand, y’all can yell Kendrick Kendrick Kendrick all you want. All the real MCs have acknowledged Cole!
You must be going crazy now after his apology 😂😂😂😂
@@ElieHenry nah facts, had to take that big fat L! I admit when I’m wrong😂😂😂 I better not hear him talking out of his neck on the fall off! I was pissed lol
That choppa gon spin you around like a judge on the voice
I've always had a hard time choosing between the two, but yeah... I would have to pick J Cole if I *had to* choose.
Kendrick watched this in the booth last night
Everybody been sleeping on Cole for a while. I’ve been bumping his shit since I first heard Lights Please.

Cole that boy....
It’s a Cold 🥶 World out here. Lyrically ain’t none of these current dudes fuckin with Cole.

Why? Cole isn't a less good rapper because of that apology. He's still with Kendrick the best rappers of this era.
