It's like this, in rap they get paid based on how good they can make songs. In Battle rap they get paid to Battle. In rap losing a Battle could mean losing your career and lifestyle, so how can someone not take it personally. In Battle rap the Battle is part of the game and respected you can always fight your way back after a loss. But in rap you need an undeniable HIT to even have a chance to get back because the songs hit different the more information people have on you. Everything they rap about starts seeming less believable

This had nothing to do with Kendrick, it was supposed to be a warm up for people to get ready for the real album(The fall off). Which is why it was called might delete later, the actual album is supposed to be what he was actually working on. We just got these songs as a bonus preview for what's coming later.

So unless you actually beefing with someone, there’s no point battling. If you want to see who the batter rapper is, then make a song together going bar for bar.
