Hi, I had a quick question. Did you keep a log book? Or could you share any tips for keeping notebooks? I like to keep things simple but I also want to make sure I am keeping good records. Again thank you for your videos, hope you continue growing your channel.
Our state doesn't require any records, so if your state does you will need to follow those guidelines, but for us I just used the term schedules from the AO site to mark what readings we had done and kept those as my "logbook." Each girl has her own spiral notebook where we write daily assignments and that's where her written narrations, copywork, and other notes go. Some of my girls have preferred 3-ring binders - whatever works for them! It can be very simple :)
Hi! Yes, pretty much as written, but sometimes we took things more slowly if my kids needed more time. Let's just say any time I veered from the plan I regretted it! :)
This was really helpful and reassuring, especially when you explained how nature study creates a solid foundation for science later on. Thank you!
Thanks for your encouragement!
This was so helpful. Love your videos.
Thank you!

Not sure you will see this message. Did you use AO as it is written? Or did you tweak along the way?
