Another epic video Mr. James. You put the same enthusiasm when you are in a hypercar or in a hatchback, and that shows. Also, Im very glad you enjoy every visit to my country so much :)
This is the kind of content I enjoy the most as it’s the most “relevant” to me as this is a car I could afford to buy, and may well own at some point! As good as the supercar/hypercar vids are that you do, there’s little to no relevance for me or many others as there pieces of art/extravagance that most will never own/see/drive, and as some have found out - even if they do manage somehow to obtain super/hypercars, they can’t actually “really” afford them when it comes to running/looking after them! Still - great vid👌😜
Every time I watch one of your videos, i want to go and buy one of whatever your driving. These companies have got the right idea getting you to test their cars.
You have a new fan! I really enjoyed this review and can't wait to see one of these cars for real. So excited! I'm an advocate of the EDC system though and I'm glad Renault have ignored the critics and carried on producing it:o).
That's one of the reasons why European cars are not so big as american cars. Lot of mountains to cross and ancient cities from medieval ages with narrow streets, need little and agile cars.
Viperbeatsvette, curbweight of an i30 N is 1425 kg in it's Performance iteration. It's a bit heavier due to it's 'rich' standard equipment (electric heated seats a.o.). I'd say you don't notice it when driving thow. Chassis is on the same level as the Meganes and I'd say the drivetrain and stearing is bit better even, with a 2l and more torque (378 Nm).
James, do you place notes in the car to remind you of what to talk about next or do you talk straight for over 12 minutes not including edits without written notes? Love your Chanel, keep it rollin. Cheers
Surely if the BBC want any chance of making Top Gear work for the future, they have to look at what the best automotive RUclipsrs are doing. They should consult the audience and worldwide car community and have people like Mr JWW presenting proper Petrol head videos like this. Have Chris Harris and multiple presenters and get rid of the gimmicks. Leave that to the old guard on the Grand Tour. Great content as always James 🙌
Patrick Tomlinson I think this is the new platform for automotive reviews. After being lucky enough to see so many channels review cars, by the time the TV series hit they just don't do it anymore
viperbeatsvette very true, but even in essence of production value and how content is made I think they could learn a lot. Basically why aren’t they taking these guys to the main screen and trying new ideas instead of sticking with an identity that left with the previous presenters.
Had the 2015 Megane rs and loved the light feel about it that you talk about, the skipping around etc feels really race car. Changed it for the new Focus RS love that to but miss the light feels.
Hot hatches like this one or seat leon cupra for example don't get enough attention i think. ford, vw and honda hot hatches already have a big fan base they don't need all the extra attention.
I’ve got a 2015 Focus ST, would this be a worthy “upgrade” or do you go next level up // golf r, RS3 etc. I’m wary of spending 80k-90k+ ($AUD) on an RS3, but if it’s this is a belter, I can save myself 30k.
Side note, the visuals on this are fucking epic. That rolling shot of the car passing in the first part is absolutely amazing. Great grading too. Your work is majorly leveling up!
i admit Renault do make good hot hatches back in the day i had a 5GT Turbo a thing of wonder the 18 months i had it i just wondered how long the clutch would last (not very long normally)
Looks like you weren't enjoying that car as much as you normally do other cars James. Hoping the manual gearbox brings more excitement to your driving ;-) Would love to see you do a comparison with this car and the Ford Focus RS that SHMEE has or is getting.
Think the fun factor is more with the smaller cars, like their Clio RS. I feel like the Focus RS and Seat Leon Cupra are better examples of sorta family cars turned sporty.
Great video James, interesting comment on the paddles, it looks like a bit of an oversight from Renaultsport, which surprises me. I like the interior, classier than the RS models of old, plus touchscreen looks pretty decent. It'll probably break at some point though, but at least it looks good 😂
+Mr JWW your clothing line is solid mate!. Best one of all youtubers!!! keep up the great work and quality content. I would buy but its too expensive for me ;(
I've never liked Renault's styling but this one looks great.
I'd have this over any other hot hatch! The Megane RS is simply stunning!! its a perfect blend of power, style, noise and performance!
~ I love this car .. My dear long time friend has just bought a Fiat Abarth 180 bhp. Not a patch on this car ..
Smiles per gallon through the roof! People don't speak like this anymore which is a shame! Another gr8 video, thanks Mr JWW
Ha ha come back any time there is plenty of elaborate chat on this channel! 😜
*I love how ur always honest James , and stay that way man !!*
Exactly 2 years ago on my birthday I subscribed to your channel. What a great decission that was.
Thanks so much!
Exactly? Well... then happy birthday to you today👍
PeaZzz thanks buddy
Another epic video Mr. James. You put the same enthusiasm when you are in a hypercar or in a hatchback, and that shows. Also, Im very glad you enjoy every visit to my country so much :)
Nice to see you review a French car! This channel is one of the best because you drive inspirational cars and you know your stuff in-depth
Wish we got these in the States
MR JWW - The kinda guy to be late to the party but still produce the best content.
110% always 😜 thanks for watching 😊
Good to hear they still have that induction noise! I have an R26 and I love it!
Cheers from across the pond! Keep nailing it, the passion and dedication keeps me looking forward to the content as always!
My parents had a 5 turbo still remember being driven in it when i was little
Cool parents you have!
More hot hatch content please
Another Amazing Video! Your video editing is off the scale! Top Gear needs to wake up and take you onboard!
Thanks a lot but Top Gear wouldn’t let me edit the content 😜

RS Renaults are epic.
What an amazing scenery at the end! Great video as always James
Every time I watch one of your videos, i want to go and buy one of whatever your driving. These companies have got the right idea getting you to test their cars.
Thanks bro!
That's is a professional film making wow
awsome review as allways james allways offers a honest review and cant wait for the vid tomorrow !!
Look at notification boom MRJWW nice well talked about and driven one take the smoking tire
Great, honest review and fantastic camera angles!!
Great video and looks like a great car! French seem to be picking up their game when it comes to hot hatches just like the old days 👌
"smile and glee in the bones" oh ya baby!
What about the manual video on track??
I am a bit of a traditionalist, James. Hot-hatches should only ever be available as a manual with a conventional handbrake.
I’m inclined to agree!
Looking forward to your take on the manual box James!!
You have a new fan! I really enjoyed this review and can't wait to see one of these cars for real. So excited!
I'm an advocate of the EDC system though and I'm glad Renault have ignored the critics and carried on producing it:o).
those drone shots are stunning!
You should drive the Fiesta ST ! it is tons of fun. Great vid as always, keep up the good work
Great shots and production level, appreciate the extra work
Brilliant video MrJWW!
Where is the track video?
Finally we'll see your thoughts on the new french beast !
What an absolute beauty, can't wait to get mine 😁😁😁😁
Another great video James, and I love the "alcanTARRA". Regards Rob
appreciating the clever editing
Another great review👍🏻👍🏻
Another great video.... Can you tell me where that road was looks awesome!!!!
Great video James keep up the great videos!!
MrJWW never fails to impress in the cinematography department...
I luv your vids so musch so i PRESS LIKE BUTTON TWICE! :P
Ha ha thanks so much!
But then you just end up reversing the like
Great video !! Welldone!!
Great video James!!! This would be a perfect car to drive on the Nurnbergring if you are a beginner!!!
Coming from the middle of the prairies in north america, those roads you're on almost scare me! Lol. Great video, James!
That's one of the reasons why European cars are not so big as american cars. Lot of mountains to cross and ancient cities from medieval ages with narrow streets, need little and agile cars.
Volumex and i hope to experience them some day soon!
I just subbed a minute back and this is already here. Daaaaaamn
It's 6:48am at L.A. and am watching the video from MrJWW!
You should feature Hyundai I30N in a video of yours, seems like a very interesting hot-hatch hitting the market really hard right now!
He did! :) ruclips.net/video/3YnZdPC0gRs/видео.html
TOYOTA Yaris GRMN....
I hear it weighs 1550kg
That's Subaru wrx weight
I'd rather get an awd if it's that heavy in a hatch
Viperbeatsvette, curbweight of an i30 N is 1425 kg in it's Performance iteration. It's a bit heavier due to it's 'rich' standard equipment (electric heated seats a.o.). Great Video mate
Is it strange that even though I own the car I still watch it’s reviews? Happily driving my dream car
James, do you place notes in the car to remind you of what to talk about next or do you talk straight for over 12 minutes not including edits without written notes? Love your Chanel, keep it rollin. Cheers
Very nice James!
Any chance you'd ever review a Lotus? Exige or Evora would be awesome!
Amazing!! I want the manual gearbox please
Fab drone footage James👍
Best video production out of all automotive youtubers!
I appreciate the support thanks Mario!
Mario Armando Chabebe most likely most money spent on the productions as well.
They say it on every channel 😅

Great vid James ;)
Duall Clutch for me anytime .. IF the Gear Ratios are Long enough .. Or at Least as Long as in the Manuall .
in my opinion the hottest of hot hatches is the Abarth 695 Biposto... cause this is pretty much a mini racecar for the street :D
Snarly looking and menacing pocket rocket. Excellent review James
Had the 2015 Megane rs and loved the light feel about it that you talk about, the skipping around etc feels really race car. Changed it for the new Focus RS love that to but miss the light feels.
James was this the Sport chassis in this clip? Great video 👍👍
Hot hatches like this one or seat leon cupra for example don't get enough attention i think. ford, vw and honda hot hatches already have a big fan base they don't need all the extra attention.
Is the manual review still coming?
Do you know what other car is better with a manual?
The 911 GT3. ^^
I’ve got a 2015 Focus ST, would this be a worthy “upgrade” or do you go next level up // golf r, RS3 etc. I’m wary of spending 80k-90k+ ($AUD) on an RS3, but if it’s this is a belter, I can save myself 30k.

How difficult can it be to fit longer and closer 3d printed paddles to it?
i admit Renault do make good hot hatches
back in the day i had a 5GT Turbo a thing of wonder the 18 months i had it i just wondered how long the clutch would last (not very long normally)
Well made review!!!👍
Cracking vid
think i'll stick to my clio 182 revving to 7500 :P modern turbos just arn't doing it for me
Agreed... Midrange punch just isn't what I'd expect or want from a little hatch. And ditch the dual clutch gearbox too, what's that for?
Thank you. I enjoy your test drive
Looks like you weren't enjoying that car as much as you normally do other cars James. Hoping the manual gearbox brings more excitement to your driving ;-)
Would love to see you do a comparison with this car and the Ford Focus RS that SHMEE has or is getting.
This car is just awesome looking especially in that orange colour! The french have done well.
where is the track video?! i cant find it any where???
Please please make a video like this on the Honda Civic X FK8 Type R
The rear reminds me of the new Vantage.
Nice job mrJww
I'm sure one day you will be on primetime tv... quality as ever MrJww
Here’s hoping for prime time Netflix ha ha
Nailed on! all the best
James Where’s the Manual version video promised?
I do not want to be unrespectful , but in my opinion the Golf GTI is the #1 of the Hatches.
Wtf really ? RS3, Focus RS and AMD are far over the GTI
rs3 focus rs and amg are shit on track lmao
Awesome car!! I'm sure a chip will bring it up to the Golf R!
i get mine in two weeks can't wait
Think the fun factor is more with the smaller cars, like their Clio RS.
I feel like the Focus RS and Seat Leon Cupra are better examples of sorta family cars turned sporty.
Would be fucking dope from Renault to make a Twingo RS as the car is already RWD :) But unfortunatly renault said they would not produce one :(
James can you do a video about pass roads ( All road were you had drive ) thanks m8
I saw it at IAA Frankfurt, it's a nice car
great one dude, where is the manual review though..?
What happened to the video of the manual?!
Great video James, interesting comment on the paddles, it looks like a bit of an oversight from Renaultsport, which surprises me. I like the interior, classier than the RS models of old, plus touchscreen looks pretty decent. It'll probably break at some point though, but at least it looks good 😂
That is a major glow up!
Let's start the weekend with fresh content from Mr.JWW
James. Sounds like the Renault maybe a bit juicy. Check, out the petrol pump challenge from It’s only Webby. Keep,up,the great work 👍🏻
+Mr JWW your clothing line is solid mate!. Best one of all youtubers!!! keep up the great work and quality content. I would buy but its too expensive for me ;(
More affordable stuff coming to MrJWW.com soon! 😄
Awesome car awesome video!
Mr JWW, question; you drive supercars like AM, Ferrari ect ect. Is it still fun to drive a 'normal' car like this Megabe RS????
Mr.JWW we don't get those here in the USA at all
I'd take this over a focus rs
the place in Spain you are (Jerez) is pronounced "heh-reth" not "arez". looking forward to the second vid on the circuit though!
Hi James, can you please let us know manual or pdk for you new gt3. Cheers man
Hamish pym I'm going to guess he's going PDK, he's a 'gearbox snob' and has huge praise for the PDK
The colour looks great, but would have to see one on UK road
