You do a video and call it the most accurate 22s, then put in mostly semi auto rifles? There isn’t a single rifle in this video that would not be outshot by a cz457, a bergara b14r, a vudoo v22, a rim x, or an anshutz. This list is highly misleading and actually terrible advice. People who watch vids like this are mostly new shooters trying to research what to buy and this kind of advice will only cause said shooter to waist money and be disappointed in the shooting sports. Calling your list decent rifles to check out or something like that would be ok but most accurate? Not even on a good day.

I am a lifetime Master as well as an NRA Distinguished Expert in 22. When I was shooting in college I won the Texas collegiate championship. I used, in fact almost all of us, used Anschutz. In my case a model 1413. Everyone used Eley tenex ammo. The difference between winning a prone match and loosing came down to a millimeter or 2. In a 3 position half course (600 possible) top to bottom might be 10 points. I started shooting at 11; I went through Mossberg, Remington and Winchester before arriving at Anschutz MK10, which I got when I was 14. When I needed at better gun I shot a Winchester 52C until I was 17 and could afford a 1413. In all of that shooting, I have never found a 22 that I could outshoot. I think that the real measure is that some of them are easy to shoot well and others you have to work hard to shoot well. The Ruger 10/22 is the easiest to trick out to the point that you have a custom gun when you're done. I have 5 22 rifles: 2 Winchester bolt action, 2 Anschutz bolt action and a Ruger 10/22. In my opinion, a bolt action is a tiny bit more accurate. Second, a suppressed 22 bolt action with subsonic ammo is as quiet as you can get.

    Questionable video at best.
    • You have two guns, the T/C T/CR22 and the Marlin 39A, that are no longer in production.
    • Ranking the Winchester Wildcat ahead of the Tikka T1X is ludicrous
    • I would have put the Savage Mark II, A22, or B22 on the list ahead of the Model 64, and finally,
    • You omitted possibly the best .22 rifle available today - the CZ 457.

I suppose it depends on your application. Bolt action may be more accurate than semi in competition, but for hunting I much prefer my Browning SA22. It's very accurate, small, lightweight. I can carry it all day and not get tired, even with a 3x9 scope. It's almost elegant. For squirrels, the noise of a single .22 shot can bounce around in the woods and confuse a squirrel who just watched his partner fall to the ground. Not knowing where the danger is, the second squirell often freezes on high alert, waiting for any noise or movement to know which way to run. If I have to chamber a second shot using bolt or lever action I give away my advantage. Semi is much better - no movement on my part. And bottom eject minimizes the chance of a spent cartridge flying off sideways through a sunbeam and throwing a flash of light. The Browning is such a great squirrel gun.

My scoped out .22 Ruger 10/22 that I bought new in 1968 takes a close 2nd place to my post WW2 Springfield Model 67A "gill gun" bolt action semi automatic with iron sights. With a barrel 6 inches longer than that of the Ruger, it is the most accurate .22 in my arsenal. And very fun to shoot.

just a heads up on the Marlin model 60, Remington sold out to Ruger and since the Model 60 is the direct competitor to the 10/22, they no longer make the model 60 or parts for it, they do not offer any gunsmithing services for them, and any and all warranties are null and void. that being said, there are aftermarket options on some parts.

I've owned a multitude of 22's, semi, bolt, & lever. Ruger or Savage wouldn't even make this list in my opinion. Best of the best, from the large manufactures: 1) Sako Quad Varmint; 2) Bergara B14R, 3) CZ457 - pick your variant. Although I've never owned a Tikka rimfire, I put it on the list given the fact that Sako is related to Tikka. WRT to 10/22 style rifles, I've never owned a Volquartsen, but I did put a Volquartsen barrel on a Magnum Research Lite Switchbolt - with no discerning change in accuracy found. Both shot well, so save your money and go with the MR over a Volquartsen. Thompson Center 10/22's are better than Ruger, if cost is a factor. Lastly, Henry's are cool. I've owned two, but they are not in the same league as a bolt action 22LR.

This video is flat out misleading when it comes to the most accurate.22's.
I should have known better because of the thumbnail is showing a centerfire lever gun. This channel doesnt know the difference i am thinking. How many of the choices here are used in legit target shooting such as the Olympics? These wouldn't even be used in a 4H match😮

Still looking for a video with a real person who has experience with the guns, instead of a script being read by a robot or voice actor with stock footage. Basically I’m sick of sifting through undisclosed ads

I have an old Remington 514 that is more accurate that most on this list. What a joke

Accuracy without groups to prove it? What a crock! Wasted time.

Cant believe you left off the CZ. The CZ is a nail driver far above most on this list. This list just made up to fill space for a video. Do not take advice from this video because there is nothing accurate about the video either.

Is this an AI generated Vid? Not very factual and none of your analysis was shown to justify the 10 rifles on the list.
