      I instantly knew it was one of the great movie scenes after I just watched it for the first time. The sound fx and music, the lighting, the absolute horror of the massacre, the illustration of Vader's power, and
      the surprise of it leading directly into Episode 4. It's proper jaw dropping cinema. Amazing directing.

    A reminder that Carrie Fisher did see Rogue One in theaters. She was genuinely stunned and surprised to see her young appearance in the end because she thought it was reused footage from 1977 that she thought she had forgotten about. She squealed happily like a little girl upon seeing Leia onscreen.
    Passing away one week after she saw this movie was heartbreaking.
    May she be one with the Force forever.

      @randallsanchez3161 3 месяца назад +13

      No it was jammed. You see a large amount of sparks by the door mechanism as they're running towards the door and then the hallway loses all power. Hence why it was completely dark while the other side had light. Vader had no clue what the guy had in his hand. It could have been a dirty letter to his wife for all we knew. He just knew that they were something in his way to the ship. They were speed bumps. He did use the force to unjam the door.

    It puts Vader's appearance in A New Hope into perspective, no? After Rogue One, we know he's on that rebel ship having just murdered about twenty dudes and he still doesn't have what he wants.

    Rogue One is the best SW movie since Empire imho. An absolute classic

    This is a perfect scene and really its the music, the ships heading towards them, the panic of hurrying and of course Vader using the full power (holding the door) and destroying them all. Guy hitting the roof and pulling their weapons is 100% perfect. This movie had re-shoots originally and i would put money on it that it was this scene as they were originally going with a beach landing but this was epic.

    I've watched Brinley's reaction more times than I've watched "Rogue One". This video would not be complete without her.

    This was the movie that made me really, truly realize how terrifying Vader actually was. I saw this on Opening night and when this scene started the audience went nuts. It was so well done it blew the rest of the movie right out of the water.

    Rogue One is a truly great Star Wars movie, for me it sits alongside A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back as the best of Star Wars. That Vader scene at the end is pretty much perfection.

    Love this! This is why movies should be maid! To reach peoples hearts. To create emotions and make them feel everything at once. To left them speechless in a positive way. Not only to keep the shareholders happy.

    This whole scene is basically right after he was placed in the suit in Episode 3. In A New Hope he proceeds to go after the ship to get those plans. I find it funny that People are shocked or say he should always be like this. He is always like this, just cause you don't see it 24 7 doesn't mean he not. Darth Vader is one of the most intimidating characters in movie history. So many people brought Vader to life. But James Earl Jones's voice made Vader intimidating. Plus knowing how dangerous he is .

    The dad and the kid reaction was pure stunned silence, the dad looked especially horrified at Vader slicing and dicing "OH God I'm Letting my kid watch this!" I did like the kids reaction at the end smiling and bopping to the music

    That scene was the best part of the movie. Single handedly tied the first movie (ep 4) to the rest of them, showed why vader was such a terror, and ripped me back to my childhood. I went from being pissed that they just "gave up" on the beach to watch death come at them without fighting so hard like they had just done to forgiving the rest of the movie for that 2 minutes or whatever it was.

    Essa parte (0:45) é INDISCUTILVEMENTE EMOCIONANTE!
    A REAÇÃO dessas pessoas é a mesma daquelas que assistiram no CINEMA, em 2016, e a mesma quando veem novamente essa parte do vídeo.
    SIMPLESMENTE FANTÁSTICO!
