Si Ferry sits down with Rangers all time top goal scorer and former manager, Ally McCoist for a entertaining look back on his career as a player, coach and brief acting days!
From 9 in a row, to coaching Scotland and becoming manager of his boyhood team during the club's most turbulent years, McCoist gives a brilliant and funny insight into some of the key moments from his career and the characters he's met and shared a dressing room with down the years.

I'm a Celtic fan but respect Mcoist.....pallbearer at Tommy Burns funeral...cried like he'd lost one of his own family and from then on I've always seen him in a different light....
Ally is unquestionably a Rangers legend. His upbeat personality, warmth and good sense of humour are very endearing. The love he shows for the late Tommy Burns is well appreciated by Celtic fans.
broke our hearts many a time in an old firm game, but Ally McCoist for me will always be the best personality in modern Scottish football

I'm a Rangers fan, Tommy Burns was a lovely guy, along with Paul McStay, two absolute gents, regardless of me being a bluenose always so respectful when you met them, sadly Tommy no longer with us, a proper Celt and a proper gentleman, held in high regard by many many Rangers fans. Lovely stories from Ally about his old mate Tommy.
As much as I've never really warmed to those coming out of Ibrox, I have to say that McCoist gives a cracking interview, very enjoyable to listen to him. You can tell how high a regard he held Tommy Burns in, and when you see the videos of Tommy's funeral, the grief on Ally's face is clear to see. Hail Hail.
As much as Rangers and Celtic fans hate each other theres always one person who has respect from both sides of the divide, Ally, Tommy Burns theres always someone special. Loved Super Ally as a player, as a Gers legend he will always have a place in our hearts
Loved the Tommy Burns stories. Some guy he was. Never heard a bad word about him. Sadly missed from the Scottish game

Super ally is an amazing human being and one of the greatest Glasgow Rangers players ever and a proper legend of the beautiful game.
Not watched this Interview for ages, enjoyed it as much as the 1st time I watched it. Loved McCoist growing up, not just his barrow load of goals but his celebrations after them showing how much of a character he was and what they meant to him. He’s a brilliant pundit and great on the radio with big Brazil great double act. Underrated as a manager, he was successful in cup competitions with a settled team and done very well in top flight until financial woes meant he was forced to sell Jelavic at Christmas when Naismith was already out for the season but until then he had team about 10 points clear, credit to Celtic who put a good run together to peg Rangers back and Rangers were 4 or 5 points behind with a game in hand when went into admin. Should have done better in Championship season but overall he done well and I think he would be better suited to being a coach. I think Gerrard should bring him in as a striker coach as his enthusiasm is infectious. Like the late Tommy Burns he is 1 of the few players who both sides of the divide respect and like.

Honestly I think it’s nice to see other Celtic fans saying they respect him after Tommy’s death etc but the truth is I always respected him bcos he use to score against us all the time , I was terrified when we played against him. I’ve always found him a nice guy, met him in my local town when he was on Scotland duty and honestly he was the nicest person you can imagine , told him I was a Celtic fan and we had a laugh but he was so respectful.
The way I look at things is I don’t hate anyone for who they support, the Rangers fans and more over players who were always fans are just living the same dream as our bhoys are but for the team they support.
Need more of these interviews, regardless of who. But super ally is THE best striker I’ve witnessed.the Scot v eng story is amazing. Keep them coming

Kwerkmoder not me..... the whole 90s Rangers juggernaut broke my heart! Ally, however, Is responsible for a moment(of many football memories) il never forget. Which il not go into here but the goal he scored in ‘89 at Hampden against Norway, that got us over the line & Bound for Italy.

something i've noticed. a diference between rangers legends and celtic legends, certainly a fair few, certainly the burns, mcoist, grant era onwards, but before as well, though there's not so much footage from back then. celtic legends are constantly and consistently mentioning the fans, rangers legends rarely do in comparison. like coisty here they mostly talk about themselves. not exclusively, but there id definitely a noticeable difference in focus and mentality. just an observation

Hilarious, could listen to ally all day everyday.
The point Ally makes about the SFA not extending the season the year they got to uefa final is spot on , when we got to final against Porto it was same this not as extreme and this isn’t a favouring Celtic or Rangers at all it’s just the fact the SFA should try to help Scottish clubs , like ally said Russian da cancelled game to help their team . Use to see it when both Celtic and Rangers were regularly in champs league or uefa , Celtic would maybe be playing Milan on the Tuesday night and we would have a league game Saturday 3pm ot even Sunday sometimes then after European game on Tuesday we would be playing sometimes Friday night or Saturday lunch time 🙈 where as they Italian federation would either have Milan play the Friday evening before the Tuesday European game then next league game would be the Sunday or sometime they would just postpone the domestic game before and after to help. It’s stuff like that and the fact our press still talk down the Scotland squad constantly and a lot of fans. We have so many talented players, we should be getting behind them

I'm a Celtic fan ,I like mccoist , he's not a bitter guy , he gets it , I watch most of the games with some rangers supporters pals and we just have a bit of banter and a laugh , got to say the job Ange is doing is fantastic and also got to say the job rangers are doing in Europe is great also, ill probably get a lot of stick for saying that but it's the truth , I would love the other teams in the league to be bought with money men and invest in the teams and make the league a belter , would be amazing 🤩🤩👏👍 have a great day everyone 👏👏
