Yeah I miss the days of looking through the Piklopedia with friends. The music of this game is easily as good as Minecraft music to me, and the atmosphere it set up is unique and unforgettable. I really think they did a lot right with Pikmin 2, as it's ny favorite game right now (still have to get through Pikmin 3 Deluxe) though not all agree with me. The music here is reminiscent of The Distant Spring's music in Pikmin 1 too, which just makes it better and more mysterious or nostalgic for me.
im not kidding when i say this is one of the best video game songs and compositions of all time. It evokes just a insanely special amount of emotions, from bittersweet memories and nostalgia, and even a hopeful sensation of life
It was alright but it got pretty monotonous pretty quickly and you just couldn't listen to it while reading through the Piklopedia, promtping me to mute the TV and instead play up this theme on the laptop.
Try putting the speed of the video to 0.75x, and put the volume halfway (Somewhere around 50%), if you still somehow cant hear it then either put your volume higher, or put your ear close to the speaker. Or just do both I guess.
“Inedible. Tastes like chicken.”
“Inedible. Known effects include uncontrollable episodes of impromptu breakdancing."
Reading up on everything is so relaxing
"inedible, tastes like chicken"
One of the most beautiful video game songs of all time.
I just agree like I love how it’s chill and peaceful it just makes my day normal when my mom goes stupid
I spent so many hours in this area. Nintendo were absolutely mad to remove this in 3.
then you have to spend another 60 bucks to get a 20 dollar game + piklopedia and a pretty short side story

@@cheebo4319 you also get all of the dlc for free and some other new features as well. (bigger whistle, more difficulties, more save slots, etc.)
@@cheebo4319, when you word it like that it sounds like a bad deal despite enhanced ports being common place.
@@cheebo4319 + easy mode + free DLC + badges that are too easy to get + coop story mode which doesn't work too well.

Not exaggerating when I say one of the best songs I've ever listened to
This makes me shed a tear
I always loved looking through the Piklopedia. The music definitely helps.
Man, I love this song so much. It is so peaceful and relaxing. It's something you hear when you are walking inside a mall or waiting at a restaurant.
THAT FUCKING BASS

Lobbing carrots at things will always be funny.😂
Especially when the creatures (namely a Bulborb) would keep missing and falling down.
Would we awesome to have this theme back in Pikmin 4's Piklopedia
I unlocked the Piklopedia in the demo and it didn’t play, *very* sadly :(
@@FriendlyTumeI cried when it didn’t play
So excited to hear that it's back in the game though
@FriendlyTume Maybe it's will be in the full version.
Yeah, the new Piklopedia theme isn't quite as evocative, is it?
Putting this as the in-between of days is so genius; i love this theme, laid back yet interesting. Probably my favorite part of Pikmin 2!
Now we can throw carrots on our Switch!
Really wish Pikmin 4’s Piklopedia music was better.

This music is straight up nostalgia
When I'll complete piklopedia and treasure hoard in pikmin 4 i'll mute the audio and play this track for nostalgia
Ive heard this from aquatic neptune so many times and i did not know it was from pikmin 2
th is aquatic neptune ❓

I don’t hear it.
Hmmm... I think you're right. I was thinking it was a quirk in the song, but I'm doubting it the more I listen to it.

I don't get the joke sense pikmin 2 came out first
It's all fun and games until the Swooping Snitchbug glitches the camera
Hope they bring back the piklopedia for Pikmin 4.
there is! You can even practice against enemies with unlimited pikmin and items. Only (personal) downside: it lacks good music like this one
@@darkibb0y776 sweet!
Anyone else just like doing cata towers in the practice obby while listening to this?
