The submarine Walruse Sudō attack on a U.S. carrier in the North Atlantic I find far more disturbing. If your subs are so good, why are the French buying U.S. subs
The Rafale is a great plane. It was able to beat an F-16 in a war game but please do not even think .it can beat an F-22, F-35 or an F-15EX for that matter. While the Meteor is a good missile(that will not even see an F-2 or F-35), but think LRAAM, AIM9x Block II, AIM 260 and soon to come Peregrine.

There’s a big reason why General Schwarzkopf during operation desert storm, put the French on the far left flank.
1. He knew there were no Iraqi troops there to worry about.
2. All the French had to do was keep nothing from flanking the main attack force.
3. With the French out of the way, he could get the job done without the French mucking things up.
