Weather a Holley a Carter or any carb for that matter knowledge is power I've been taking carbs apart since my first nitro R/C planes as a kid! still love to put my own carb together nothing is more satisfying than getting one to perform! Just got two Carter AVS 440 carbs to rebuild and I already know one going to need the throttle shafts rebushed for it to run steady and the tools are available to do so....the one thing I don't like about older holleys is that they use zinc air bleeds that the new gasoline likes to clog with deposits.... The newer Holleys solved this somewhat with brass air bleeds.. Keep teaching Jacob he's going to be a great hot rodder!!
