I don't see any of the differences you see in the display between the S25 Ultra and S24 Ultra. I only upgraded to the S25 Ultra because I was still on the Note 9, and the charge on my Note 9 would only last half a day.
I actually wanted to upgrade to the S24 Ultra because of the removal of Bluetooth from the S-Pen for the S25 Ultra. However, I could not find any stock of the S24 Ultra with 512GB storage anywhere in Ontario, Canada (256GB is inadequate for me).
I am not excited at all about receiving the S25 Ultra. If voice commands to trigger the camera shutter in the S25 Ultra do not work to my satisfaction, I'll be sending the S25 Ultra back to Samsung.
So those of you lucky enough to already own an S24 Ultra, KEEP IT!!!

@@jspring86the display color production comes from kernel configuration. Back when rooting and porting roms was the thing. I use to decomplie several kernels and use configuration from other models. The display performamce would make device feel new.
you could always you buy a SSD stick usb like ADATA SC750 1tb and buy a used mint s24 ultra base 256 with case + good screen protector + couple of chargers and miscellaneous accessories if you not fan of new and shiny stuff
Aside the voice, there are hand gestures that can trigger the capture button... or if you own a galaxy watch, you have a supreme work around plus you can see what you're capturing.

Feeling left out with the middle child. Almost all videos are Ultra, a few base model and only TWO RUclips videos of the S25 Plus.

idek why they have the plus. There is zero incentive. You save what 200 bucks? Its the ultra with way less features. Imo they shoul have 2 choices, Ultra or S thats it.

How does the 25u feel in the hand with a case on compared to the 24u? Is that a big difference in hand?

@jspring86 my big question is I know the Gemini is only good for 6 months free but what features will you lose if you don't do the monthly subscription....like will you not be able to hold the power button to access Gemini or what else will you lose ...maybe consider a video on what will be lost
You wont lose those features. You will lose access to some of the special Gemini models. But I will confirm these things with Samsung

One of the selling features of the devices is the longevity of support. Pretty sure this is the case because the updates from year to year will be incremental.
I might switch to the base s25. I have the 23Ultra but im tired of carrying a giant and heavy checkbook in my pocket and hands.

Thanks for the video. Do you know if Caudabe is going to make a case for the S25 Ultra? So far, they don't have one on their store. I am looking for a case with individual cutouts for the cameras, but the Dbrand is too expensive.
I am not trying to be a troll, I am not lying but to me personally, the colors and vividness on the S24U based on your video looks better to me. It looks brighter, clearer and more saturated... That's just my opinion. Why is it that at least for me the Ultra series from S23 onward seems to be getting worse?

I've only upgraded when either a phone just failed or it's been five or more years. I get ti some folks want the latest and greatest but I'm only on my third smart phone (currently S23+).

Been test driving the 25U this week. Was going to send it back in favor of holding onto my S24U. And then I noticed the grainy screen of my 24U, and now I can't unsee it! I literally went from 80/20 sending it back to 80/20 keeping it and sending in my 24U. I feel like I haven't seen/heard enough about this difference in the comparison videos between the 2. Anyone else having the grainy screen issue on the 24U?

It feels more like an iPhone S update. Coming from 14 pro max. S24 ultra now.I'm really liking this phone more and more and learning new stuff everyday. Spen, dex, expert raw, goodlock, one hand operation, sideloading and many more each day.
I don't care if the 25 ultra has transporter capability and warp drive with transdimentional interdimentional warp feild maneuverability, I'M NOT UPGRADING. If everyone took the same stance, guess what would be included with the 25? Guess what the ultra watch would have without waiting for the second iteration. NOPE NOT UPGRADING.

Samsung claim the s25 ultra supports qi2 and the S24 ultra doesn't, but if they both need a case, and cases are available for both, and they both support 15 what wireless charging... What's the difference exactly?
@@fuzziestlumpkin the magnetic alignment and also the s pen is supposedly unaffected by magsafe attachments on s25 ultra. Will test that of course

Is it worth trading in a 24 ultra and paying 500 for a s25 ultra ? Or wait for the 26 ultra and paying 700-800 after trading my s24 ultra?
With the small small difference I've seen thus far I couldn't pull the trigger for 450 shipped for the upgrade . If it were closer to 250-300 id bite but ..nah and if it's like the 24u and 23u eventually updates and time will zap some of the battery life ..I just have sorta mixed feelings about samsung at the moment I do plan on going to the store and get one in hand to see if I feel different though

I just got my first ever Android after having a iPhone for 15 years. Big change but not the learning curve I was expecting. I got the S24. Biggest thing has been getting used to the keyboard. Otherwise not a bad phone.

Why is there so many people angry that the S25 Ultra is a massive upgrade to their S24 Ultra?
Do people want their phone to be obsolete after only 1 year? I'm upgrading from the S21 so this a massive upgrade for me. People shouldn't be getting a new phone every year
Im upset cus I wanted to upgrade to the s25U. That is until I saw it literally has none of the new technology that all other manufacturers are using. This is so lame and b******* of Samsung. Compare it's display with s23 ultra, because on s24 ultra, the display was not vivid and the colors didn't pop, even with the updates

Man, im upgrading from an s10+, and i just can't choose between the 2.
S25 U legitimately is the S24 U SE. S24U also looks way better. Just more premium. The 8 elite is the only reason to update here. Not even 16GBs of ram unless you getting a Korean only version. If you're S22U or older, makes sense to upgrade. Otherwise, hold tight.

Under no circumstances should anyone (unless money is no object) upgrade to the S25 Ultra when the S24 Ultra exists with a superior design and fully functional S Pen. No one cares about the so-called "ProScale" technology or the cheap-looking black borders around the camera rings. What we want are meaningful upgrades: a bigger battery made possible with silicon carbon tech, built-in MagSafe for Qi2, faster charging speeds, 16GB of RAM for AI future-proofing, an upgraded 3x telephoto camera like they did the ultrawide, Aqua Touch technology, and IP69 certification-none of which the S25 Ultra delivers.
The only "notable" change? Removing Bluetooth from the S Pen, essentially turning it into a regular stylus. And what's this nonsense about One UI 7.0 being designed for rounded corners? Oh please. Up until a few years ago, all smartphone screens had squared corners, and most laptops still do.
If Samsung intends to follow Apple’s lead by stripping away useful features while withholding meaningful, obvious upgrades, I’ll have no choice but to start looking elsewhere. This was their golden opportunity to steal some market share from Apple, but they completely blew it. Hopefully, people skip the S25 series entirely to send them a clear message.

Good video, besides rounded corners there is really no difference in phones. The 25 is A.I. based. The 24 will have it as well I'm honestly disappointed and not going to fish for reasons to give them more money

Everybody has their own wants and needs from their phone's. My personal opinion is for those with the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra the Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra is an incremental update. I'm more looking forward to Samsung One UI⁷.

Samsung's laziest design to date, at a distance you wouldn't know the difference between The Last 3 years phones, yes new chipset but the software will be coming to all the older devices so completely pointless to upgrade.
