    The real trouble with those motors is that they need a special frame to be installed in.

      Hi,
      Check out my other video about running it with a vesc.
      Your bosch controller inside the motor is probably dead, and it could be a number of things.
      Good luck .

    What about just installing a new controler taking the three motor phase ?

      Hi,
      That's exactly what I ended up doing, using a vesc.
      I've done a video about it.

    Hello, you know how I can fixit the Code 500?

    • @theelectronage
      @theelectronage  7 месяцев назад

      Hi,
      Sorry i don't, it could be one of a few things.
      One thing I learned recently is, when either the torque sensor or the sin/cos encoder is disconnect from the controller the error 500 shows up, but also if for example when one or all of the phase wires aren't connected.
      But sadly it could also be a hardware problem on the controller itself, in which case it's improbable that it could be repaired.
      If you kinda know how to go about it just by process of elimination maybe you can get somewhere.
      On the other hand I have a video not yet published about running a bosch motor with a VESC, which works by the way, but could be improved.
      Good luck.

      @@theelectronage if anyone know how much would be to send failed motor to Bosch refurbish factory in DE and if they only replace the faulty part (motherboard or sensor)?

      @niccots hi,
      Yes you can send your motor to bosch to be repaired but through a dealership, the repair itself is free if under warranty, otherwise it is a bit expensive in the range of 400-700 depending on what you have.
