strong! oly type lifting with upright torso can blow out of the bottom, but they have no grind at all. Low bar squatters can use their low back and glutes to finish a lift.

I never thought about it that way. Maybe a belt would help with the grind too?

Decades ago when powerlifting was under AAU there were one set of rules. Then individuals begin to complain and wanted out of the AAU to make their own rules and organizations so they could make money, and powerlifting went to hell in a hand basket. They have so many different organizations and rules now it looks like a circus. I saw one competition where the lifter was helped out of the rack and almost carried the weight for him before he made a squat. Might as well called in a forklift. Then they started using super wraps and super suits of all kinds to gain an advantage. And this is not even mentioning steroids use. Wonder what percentage of lifters are true competitors today. Mankind against iron, true strength and not artificial. This is why All Around Weightlifting Association USAWA begin. Great competition where pure brute strength is demonstrated.

Goes to show how effective high frequency squatting is. These guys are in that position everyday almost. Am I wrong?

      You're correct

the other edge is that once you reduce frequency you lose the strength instantly

You would lose strength, but it wouldn't be "instantly", especially if intensity/volume stays high

I'd say it's a common scene in top 77kg lifter to have 300kg MAX squat, just like Lu Xiaojun, right?
