It's only hard until you get used to the parry. Afterwards it's actually quite fun.

It takes some time to get used to it but once you've mastered it, you can parry almost everything in this game.

Yes! Even though I played the original when it first released on PS3, might give the "repop" a try as well.
Souls games are great! btw there's season 2 of suicide squad soon, maybe you wanna give it a try
