Scout and Jem’s father, Atticus Finch, is a respected lawyer in Maycomb but he takes on a difficult case. Danger comes knocking from people who resent Atticus for defending an African American man.

    Saw this movie in the early 70s for the first time, when I was a kid . Deeply impressed me until today .

    I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin, but you begin anyway and see it through till the end.

      No. They were saying that in the morning, Scout will tell Jem what happened with boo while he was sleeping (aka taking him home and conversation with him”
