The only issue I have right now is PvE I wish to have the old zombie spawn system back. Horde and puppets opening doors vaulting windows is nice but the spawn is just ewww
Absolutely agree. They spawn 10 meters right in front of your face. This isnt fun. There is no tactical approach to that. They just wanted to boost servers to be able to have more players on the map. Puppets and animals had to be removed big way. But they are so essential and such a big part for the gameplay. Just let the server owners decide what to do with that and get back the free roaming animals and puppets.
on obs change your rate control to CQP instead of CBR and set the CQ Level to 14-16 for a better picture. Something tells me you stream using the bit rate and it looks blurry! I wanna see your videos looking better by next week! :)

Scum IS DEAD! EU Server are full of Chinese Hacker, there are just 3 Servers to play in EU and all are private ones. Compare it to other Games like Rust or 7 Days to die or DayZ. SCUM is fucking Dead! The Devs could easily Region Lock Servers to bring more people back but they dont care
Like all games that fall apart, Asia keeps them alive. Scum won't die, just like pubg it will simply get passed up but will keep a small dedicated player base. I do think it is kinda hilarious though how it has taken so long . Pretty sure unreal 6 will be out by the time it hit 1.0 and i suspect before it hits 1.0 they will delay it and say we are upgrading to UE 5 lol
I put 800 hours into scum , i just couldn't get onto a keyboard and mouse, it was my first computer and game btw , i wish you could use a controller for the game , i might come back someday , i played before the drop ships on pve

SOLO/PVE player - played since .5. I tried .96 last night spawn system still sucks. Maybe I need to mess with the server settings but I shouldn't have to just to get the puppets to feel more immersive.
A plus of approx 5k players after such a "big" update is just pathetic. And already back to its normal 15-20k. That's just poor performance. People are just fed up with the game and it's nonsense. Cheaters, bad design choices and unbearable bugs totally nudged it over the edge of the cliff into free fall.
I've lost hope for the game. I loved the game at the beginning a few years ago, it was something new and the realism aspect was really interesting, but since I'm a solo player, the game got boring very quickly. I played it in SP for a while at first, but that quickly got boring because there was just nothing to do, then I switched to multiplayer only to be steamrolled several times by a large squad or killed directly by a cheater. I really had hope for the quest system, but they did exactly what I feared... boring, monotonous quests that are fun for maybe 3 to 5 hours but then it's over again. And all the players that are currently shown are simply 80% Chinese bots on their Chinese servers or these weird servers where you can buy your gear....

The game is almost dead for me personal, i do not care what people say is my personal opinion and the low number of players prove it already. Maybe i will try this game next year after version 1.0 to see what happen to this game if is getting better or is legit dead.
@ it's not THAT bad but after listening again it's just a trebly kind of whistling distortion the whole way through and not so much unwanted background noise. if it's a gated condenser mic it just doesn't sound like one. it could be your EQ if you have one. but it's clear that guests in your video have better microphone quality. but i'm also just some idiot on the internet and you're doing a great job either way brotha lmao. i just work with audio a lot only reason i noticed it.
I love SCUM and have played it for many hours but honestly i'm just so burnt out of the game. Every time they bring an update it feels like it just isn't worthy enough. How many years are we in now? Updates in SCUM are usually like "Hey guys, we brought back the motorcycle from 5 years ago!" and the vehicle just feels like a zero effort prepaid asset with a sound recording on loop the moment you hit the throttle. So bored of the map after all these years, no matter how many POI's they add. Can't wait till 1.0 releases and the modder community takes over.

Scum is a wasting time looting nothing game. Here are the problems with the game: -gameplay is dumb easy and boring... (melee combat and so on) -looting system is bullshit and you waste most of the time doing this -is advertised with action etc but you have action maybe 3% of the time wasted looting and action means dumb combat -no real time dismemberment and gore So the problems are hare and i have the solutions but the team that work on this game is wasting time on other bullshit features like base building bullshit... For the looting system they should fukin follow how is made in FALLOUT game where you highlight items that you see through cabinets etc... higher the skill and you see the item farther They keep wasting time on bullshit things and the game is what it is...

scum is dead in europe and america.. only a hand full server left in the top 100 ranking.. playerbase is asia now for a few years until it dies completely

Once you have all the muscle memory in place for a keyboard and mouse, its a beautiful thing. Incredibly accurate with the finer stuff
