I've lost hope for the game. I loved the game at the beginning a few years ago, it was something new and the realism aspect was really interesting, but since I'm a solo player, the game got boring very quickly. I played it in SP for a while at first, but that quickly got boring because there was just nothing to do, then I switched to multiplayer only to be steamrolled several times by a large squad or killed directly by a cheater. I really had hope for the quest system, but they did exactly what I feared... boring, monotonous quests that are fun for maybe 3 to 5 hours but then it's over again. And all the players that are currently shown are simply 80% Chinese bots on their Chinese servers or these weird servers where you can buy your gear....

Fresh spawn hunting and camping seems like or of a problem then the blue card. Just like DayZ. But being players know they can be picked off from dropping in. Its really kinda get what you get.

Over 3,000 hrs played on that game, that run across the rollercoaster was my fave, best map for me, was not a big fan of that mode, custom maps I used to love

I think you gotta be fairly lucky to be right in range of someone who just landed. But that said, Maybe removing blue card on respawn could or should be a thing. Like you get ONE as a fresh character and all others need to come from the trader. OR allow Access to tab menu after chute is deployed before actually landing. Its a weird mechanic and clearly no one wants it as the first thing they do is destroy it. The ONLY reason is shown here and thats for a player to profit from killing a freshie. Its an odd choice by devs who not to long ago were talking about wanting to create reasons for strangers to work together and reduce the KOS mentality. TBF tho, I seen a guy wipe a squad and while still trying to take their car, two return to Treho him. Kills them again and got 10k or so out of it. So, if not destroying it right away you kinda deserve to lose the money. lol Maybe thats one kinda good part of it. Also, on a side note, The deadly treadly with gears seems to be so good. Those city bikes seem like slow moving death traps. I swear its much slower than running and you are far more vulnerable. I obviously only ever find the city bike coz no one wants them.

I don’t like the starter card system. I think you should have to go to trader to get it once you spawn in. You can get around it though by dropping your starter card in a place no one will find it and then you don’t spawn in with one whilst the other one is still in the world somewhere.

Leave starter card in locked chest and you'll never respawn with it. Problem solved.

this was one of the mechanics added to SCUM that made me quit playing. piss poor game design

Cant believe they still have that stupid thing in the game. I know i complained about it in the scum discord when it first came out. Imagine grinding for days and having 100k+ in your account. You always play it safe and dont carry a card, or only carry gold cards ... and then one time you die, respawn and land in an out of the way area and if there just so happens to be someone there when you land and before you have a chance to destroy it ... its all gone
