    Dividend Investor here.. I know it's a long journey and I constantly have to remind myself of the end goal, but not having to deal with the stress of always checking the stock market is a HUGE plus, I can continue to do other things in life while my money is working, great video and super informative!

    Great video! Just one thing the spreadsheet didn’t or cannot take into account is taxes on dividends.. it’ll slow the growth considerably

      Yes, good point! I should have added it in because it would have further illustrated the point of why retained earnings can be a much better use of capital for shareholders that dividends. Also inflation is not accounted for so $50 in 15-20 years won't have the same buying power that it has today. Thanks for your comment and support :)

    speed the process up tremendously and invest in higher yield income ETF's. Ya you lose out on some capital gains but you will be able to live off the dividends YEARS earlier.

    if you reinvest the dividends then why not let companies do their buyback instead of you getting a taxable divi just to re-invest it.
