    well executed as always! I appreciate the patients you have for doing each scale on the snake individually. been thinking about using pyrography as well but I am unfamiliar with it

    As always, another amazingly beautiful walking stick! I can't even imagine how long that takes you from start to finish. Also, how anatomically correct are the length, girth, head size, etc.. of the various snakes that you carve? Just curious.........Steve

      I remember catching and eating those little 10" to 12" trout as a kid in Colorado. Now I live in Florida and fish in the Atlantic. If you catch something smaller than 2' it is too small to keep. LOL. You do absolutely beautiful work carving canes and painting.

      I don't know how many hours, but it took about 2 and a half weeks to get it done.

    what snakes are native to Oregon?

      We have Western Prairie Rattlers, Bull snakes, Rubber boas, and garter snakes and something that looks like a Blue Racer, except it's olive green and yellow on the belly.

    I wish i had a dog like that!! I got a cat and its been with us for 2 years, and it still will not come to me. cats are users. dogs are a mans best friend.
