@@ParlayRevival Why is there such a delay between the release of these videos and real time? Please excuse my ignorance as I'm quite new here. I've very much enjoyed these past 6 or 7 episodes of this emotional homecoming. As a commercial fisherman and avid fan of Below Deck Sailing Yacht I've been wanting to get involved further with a membership and see where it can go from there. I'm guessing once I'm a participant in good standing we'll move closer to real time communications and information. Congratulations on all of your accomplishments and success! You are good souls and attract the same which is all one can ask for in life. Love to you all.
Everyone always just beams with love and happiness when they are around you Colin. Ian is a legend and you could tell how proud he is of you. What a touching welcome home. Give yourself a pat on the back you have touched so many lives and kept them safe as well. May God always have his hand on you. 🙏💕
This was such a wonderful video! It’s amazing to see how many lives that you have touched and continue to do so on nearly a daily basis. There’s so many people who care so very much about you, and it’s because you’re such a good person that it can’t be overlooked. What a beautiful place your home is too!
I don’t ever remember crying for 25 minutes over a RUclips video. I’m so happy and of what Colin has accomplished. He is an amazing person! Ian and his haka Wow that was so beautiful and special. No homecoming can beat your parents and uncles 🥂🥰😭
I had it together until Ian celebrated your homecoming with the Hakka. Wow! His passion brought me to tears. Your editing skills have become second level Colin! My main source of entertainment is YT. Your channel is one of my top two. You make us feel like we are there with you through your storytelling. Congrats on making it to NZ! And I can’t wait to see follow you on your next adventure. Peace be with you, and the crew!
Your folks are very special and lovely. The joy in Mamas eyes. Nothing sweeter than honey. I see where from come your good looks and gentle kindness , the honor you feel in your heart for others. Beautiful.
Kia Kaha Brother. Brought tears to my eyes as a kiwi living in Canada. Watching your full journey has been inspiring. You comments around leaving and not looking back describes my journey also. So happy for you to get back home!
Congrats on your homecoming Colin. The journey you and Jamie have been through from Panama to here is incredible. Thank you for letting us live vicariously through you.
This episode was so unbelievably moving! I was in tears because I could feel just how special this homecoming was for you! It was just another beautiful reminder just how special this lifestyle is and I couldn’t be more grateful for you all to be sharing it with all of us ❤
My wife and I attended the Anzac Day ceremony at Gallipoli some years ago. After the NZ service, which was supported by the Aussie miliary guys there, one of the NZ soldiers announced that thy army guys would be doing a haka and invited anyone in the crowd - which was large - who wanted to, to join in. There must have been 40 of us doing it. There was dead silence apart from the hala itself, which was very loud. Very moving for me, because my grandfather had been in the Gallipoli campaign iin 1915. It must have upset the Turks, because the next year the organisers were told there were to be no ,more hakas ... Great stuff, Colin and crew!
Ian's Haka made me shiver and the hair stood up on my arms! Such fierceness, such protectiveness, such pride of home! When Ian finished and said it was good to perform on a waka (?? - boat) because that Haka composed by his grandfather was intended to be done on a waka (?), the statement brought tears to my eyes. @udontknowjack said, "Ian is a legend and you could tell how proud he is of you." Since I'm not from New Zealand or even the South Pacific but born in the United States maybe I misinterpreted the Haka message but Colin thank you so much for sharing! You are so blessed to be so honored and to have such people in your life.
Congratulations to the crew of Parlay Revival on making it to New Zealand. From lightning strikes to broken bulkheads..... You guys did it!!!. This episode flashed me back to the first lightning strike in Panama when we thought the dream of sailing to New Zealand was over. But you guys persevered and overcame all the obstacles. Such a joy to have followed the journey.
I'm overwhelmed and struggling for words wading through seven years of roller coaster emotions approaching the pinnacle. Epic journey. Welcome home to New Zealand 🇳🇿

Most of us are lucky to have an old friend come for a visit. Very few people get to bring old friends back to share in a dream and a way of life. Great job Colin.
You literally never fail to upload a video that makes me cry. Well deserved. Colins face lights up so much when he talks of his homeland. That's the way it should be. Jamie and Colin you have done an incredible feat. Well done!
Wow! What a welcome home, and it has only just started! When Ian stepped on board and welcomed you home, I found myself smiling from ear to ear. Now my jaws hurt! LOL! What a great journey for you to share with your closest friends. Congrats!
What a great way to kick off a Sunday, filled with gratitude for this journey and that you’ve made it public even in the most private moments and taken us along with you. Cant wait for the unknown ahead
Congratulations, Colin Jamie and Parlay, for finally arriving back home. I hope the arrival and stay is filled with family and friends. Thanks for bringing me along from Columbia to your home in New Zealand. It's very much appreciated.
Wow, I find myself quite choked up from this episode. I have been recovering from surgery so have had the great opportunity to watch your journey from the beginning. All the ups and downs, hard work, good times, great friendships, lost souls, and acts of kindness you have all been able to share has been something beyond words. The kind intent and effort you have put into everything you have done is what is most inspiring of all. The selfless acts of kindness in the many places you have temporarily called home has I am sure left a lasting of loving impression. The Hakka from Ian was the most intense and beautiful welcome imaginable. What a gift!! I feel honored to have been able to see all that you have shared and want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing it. I wish you all the best in your future journeys!!!
I spent 20 years in the US Navy and watching Parlay setting in those dark blue waters really brought back memories of being on the flight deck of the USS Forrestal and topside on the USS John S McCain. The calming feeling that beautiful ocean gives me is like no other..... I'm using my wives ipad to write this, although it shows she wrote this, she was with me almost all 20 years, 35 years this past January...
From the moment I became a patron I've been waiting to watch this dream come true for you. I cried happy tears for you watching this video. Can't wait to see where you go next.
This is an absolutely epic episode mate. I am so stoked for you all. Everything you achieved you deserved in spades. So many setbacks and so much back breaking hard work to get where you want to be. Most mortals would have given up a long way back but you all persevered and achieved your goal. That makes you gods in my eyes. Out of curiosity was Ian in the RNZEME? He is definitely wearing a REME tie. I know because I served 22 years in REME. My wife Kerry says 'Say hello to Papatoe' when you get to Auckland. That is where she is from. All the best guys, you nearly got me in tears and I'm normally an emotional brick. Love you all.
I have been following your incredible channel since the haul out in Nana Juana! WE met at the 2023 Miami Boat Show in my booth where the haul out videos were playing. As a Kiwi who left home, in 1967, to explore the what was outside of New Zealand, I enjoy following your accomplishments, in the outside world, of our home NZ. The home arrival to The Bay of Islands, hit my emotional heart strings. Thankyou for sharing. Your video may bring joy to fellow Kiwis, that live away from "home", and stir up the inner proud emotions, only, a Kiwi can feel. Keep up the great life passage documentary, by sharing your travels. I was born a little too early to enjoy the lifestyle you are accomplishing. Not complaining, but given the opportunities that became available later in my lifecycle, I would follow your footsteps in a heartbeat!

Wow! Writing through tears! I'm proud of you and thank you so much for allowing me to float along with you in the background during your adventures. Cheers mate. Lots of love!!!
ALL the feels man! Such an epic journey. Can see many other Kiwis in the comments like myself, who've all been away for some years, decades even, living vicariously through these episodes. Such an emotional time. Can't wait until next week for Aucks! 🌊☁
Colin, I've been with you from the beginning and my heart is so full and tears of joy for you. I can feel the love halfway across the world. Well done good son, chief engineer and Captain.
Awww, what a lovely homecoming. It touched my heart that so many of Colin's guy friend were with him for this voyage -- especially Jamie! Safe travels ❤
When Eon (sp?) did his welcome I cried.. you could just feel how proud he was of you Colin, and what you, Jamie, the girls and everyone who was part of Parlay! I just loved his traditional welcome! Very moving indeed! I want to mention how brave of your friends to share very personal parts of their lives in last few episodes! Thank you Parlay and crew for sharing! Really THANK YOU!
Congratulations Colin 🎉 Thanks for bringing us along on this epic adventure to New Zealand. I'm crying happy tears of joy for you and the crew. -Sharon (St. Louis)
What a wonderful experience this was. Being a Patreon for all of these years has always been about you achieving this goal. And in true parlay fashion you did it with a crew of outstanding people. Cheers.🥂
Colin, bless you and your crew. I first got to know you on the super yachts. (Engineer) Seeing your 70 year old friend has given me some sort of hope. Love you guys so much. Enjoy the holiday, and I can't wait to see the rest. God bless and God spead, may the sea God's bless your journey. 😊
Hey Colin, you should seriously consider getting a vacuum sealer for all your frozen goods, it'll keep them from getting freezer burn and all that ice accumulation! Also can I say I love New Zealand's Haka's, it's really amazing keeping that ancient tradition alive, also congratulations on making it home Parlay!
Oh....Colin... I'm so proud for you! You are definitely the poster child for Never giving up on your dream! And what a ride it has been. I have seen some of the oceans most beautiful days, through your eyes. Thank you for letting me take the journey with you!!
A very moving episode and hearing about your friends I have a pair of married friends that I have known for 50 years - they live in Crete we live in central France and use Facebook to keep in touch - as you said it is very comforting to have friends who cover most of your life time and know more about you than even you family. Thanks again Colin for another brilliant episode
Congrats Colin, after watching you on RUclips for the last 4 years knowing that this is what you always wanted to do, now you've finally achieved a huge goal, I am absolutely stoked for you brother. You lit a fire for me to do something similar mate (only on a much smaller scale 😆) Keep up these sensational adventures
As a young kiwi struggling significantly with mental health and addiction this video moved me and something about the last few have made me really realize Just how good life can be if we get out there and get after it. Ik you'll probs never see this but from the bottom of my heart, thank you
I've watched all 251 episodes and shorts as well. This is my first time commenting, (that's on me ..) I am so very happy for you Colin as you complete this major milestone and wish you the best on completing many more.
Thanks for sharing all of this Team PR and Captain Colin. What a journey it has been, God's speed and may the wind continue to be at your back wherever you may go!!!
Watching this journey you made has taken me back to my trip to Ireland a couple years ago. It was my life long dream and landed on my 71th birthday. I had some heart issues before we left and this Tuesday I go in for a heart biopsy. Making it to Ireland was worth it all, I don't have to worry about 20 years from now. Thank for sharing your journey with us Colin and the crew!!🎉❤
I've lost both my best mates/friends from high school in the past couple of years, one to health reasons, one to a violent attack. So wanted to share these types of experiences with them as I plan to embark on a trek in the next 2 years. So glad you've been able to connect and reconnect with your mates for this most epic of adventures! Been watching your episodes for 2 years and have watched all of them at some point. Thank you Colin for taking the time to document you trials, tribulations and most importantly your successes. Could not be happier for you! Nga Mihi.
It’s hard for non sailors to understand the depth of emotion and feeling of sailing home from far away. It is a small club and a very old, very unique human thing. Well done, Colin. Well done.
You’re a good man Colin. Your friends are amazing humans!! The girls are too!! Thank you for sharing your feelings on your return and to learn of your friendships that have passed generationally! You’re a lovely bloke & sincerely, Thank You!
You singing with your friends and the cut aways plus your fathers friend doing the haka with the cut aways were brilliant and brought tears to my eyes. One of your best vlogs ever!! 🤗💞
🎉🎉🎉 Congratulations Colin, and your amazing crew. Been following you for ages, and eagerly waiting for this episode to drop. So teary eyed the screen blurred. What an epic journey, complete with ups and downs, incredible people and places, and no doubt, a lifetime of truly wonderful memories! You're such a huge inspiration Colin. Congratulations on a highly successful accomplishment!!! 🎉❤🎉
Oh my, I’ve just loved binging on your channel. When I discovered it, I had been following a couple different sailing channels as my daughter, husband & grand just sold their farm & bought a big 45’ catamaran. Then I discovered that I had seen Collin on a TV show I had watched a few years ago. Funny how things come in circles…the law of nature! My Dad & I used to dream of a sailing vessel. That dream never materialized for us yet I get to watch my dream manifest through my daughter & your RUclips channel. TY for all you have done to let those of us who had the dream never realized, come true because of your hard work. At 66 I pray I get to do a sail w/my grand & family…like a week. 🤪 My best to you & your crew, always! Ann
Awesome, thanks for allowing me to be a part of it, I know it sounds odd but because you all did such a great job at posting and consistently sharing the updates; on time; I and many others have joined in your success and adventure through youtube, I never thought I would be so connected to another group of people I don't even know. excited to see what the future holds, God Bless you guys
Ian's haka took me to tears and we clapped wildly when he was done! What a feeling that you made it home, thanks for the adventures and saving us during Covid with your openness and wonder full experiences.

I've watched from when you purchased the wrecked boat. Years of hard work, trials and tribulations, good days and bad. So happy for you guys to have made it.
Far out, that Haka performed by Ian gave me the feels big time. What a moment. Top stuff team.

Congratulations on your arrival home. I have worked all my life sailing on the oceans and totally understand the raw emotion of returning home from a long voyage. May fair winds and safe seas take you the rest of your way home.

Wow
Congrats! Very moving homecoming. Love the three of you singing together. You will get the motor repaired in time the world is on your side.
Louis)

Mate you made me cry from shared happiness. Welcome home! Love the Hakka, so powerful.
What a wonderful experience this was. Being a Patreon for all of these years has always been about you achieving this goal. And in true parlay fashion you did it with a crew of outstanding people. Cheers.🥂
Cheers Barbara, we so appreciate that!
Thanks Peter!
Loved this episode Colin, A little Crowded House was just perfect. Congratulations on all you have achieved! Pls come and visit across the ditch!
Best episode ever, so much emotion. "WELCOME HOME"
Congrats Colin, after watching you on RUclips for the last 4 years knowing that this is what you always wanted to do, now you've finally achieved a huge goal, I am absolutely stoked for you brother.
You lit a fire for me to do something similar mate (only on a much smaller scale 😆)
Keep up these sensational adventures
Congratulations Colin. The 1st leg of parlay revival and your life has just began many many more adventures to come
As a young kiwi struggling significantly with mental health and addiction this video moved me and something about the last few have made me really realize Just how good life can be if we get out there and get after it. Ik you'll probs never see this but from the bottom of my heart, thank you
6 years of sweat, tears & beers.... A well deserved homecoming to Parley & Co. I f**king luv U guys!❤
Well done.
A big shout out to the crew, friends, New Zealand and Colin - from Southern Bavaria with tears of joy. The Haka was felt over here too.
You’re a good man Colin. Your friends are amazing humans!! The girls are too!! Thank you for sharing your feelings on your return and to learn of your friendships that have passed generationally! You’re a lovely bloke & sincerely, Thank You!
Good on you Colin. It is not always "we", sometimes it is "I". What an achievement!
I got chills and then got tears with Ian’s Haka. We didn’t need to be on the boat to feel the spirits.
Glad to be have a part on this amazing experience, and as a new life arises I wish you guys all the best!
Congratulations to the crew and Colin the captain of parlay such an achievement you will have nothing to regret in 20 years
Oh my, I’ve just loved binging on your channel. 🤪
My best to you & your crew, always!
Listening to & watching Ian was breathtaking ♥️

As a fellow New Zealander who has been away from home for a long time I also had tears in my eyes as you arrived back there.
I've watched from when you purchased the wrecked boat. Years of hard work, trials and tribulations, good days and bad. So happy for you guys to have made it.
