Born and raised in Hawaii and only recently started star gazing. Arcturus was big and bright tonight and had to know more. Really appreciate happening upon your video and hearing about the Hokule’a and her connection to Arcturus. Well done!

My home. Thanks for this insight. Arcturus came from a parallel universe through a portal and made the milky way it's home. So it's older than the milky way. There's feline beings, blue skin beings, it was a fairy world at one point. About 1.4% of earth population are Arcturians starseeds.

Facing Arcturus and looking to the left you will find Vega and between these stars you will find Hercules and Corona Borealis two faint constellations but whenever the nights are clear I try to go out and with the camera get at least a couple of pictures of CB together with other constellations. Thanks Janine.

Job 38:30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
34 Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
35 Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are?

Interesting - I was under the impression K type stars lived double the life span of our sun. I find it interesting that its already in the end stages of its life even though its only 2 billion years older than our sun. Interesting watching these videos and brushing up on my astronomy. I haven't had the chance to do any since I was a teenager.

The Herdsman is protecting the Greater and Lesser Sheepfolds (aka the big and little bears, dippers, plowshears).
I think the Sheepfold names are more harmonious with the shepherd and makes sense with an Ancient Near East origin.
_The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want._
_He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters._
_He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake._
_Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me._
_Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over._
_Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever._
    - Psalm 23, A Psalm of David, KJV

    Hi 👋. A few things:
    1) i thought Sirius was the brightest star, after the sun?
    2) Do you have any information on Lyra?
    3) How can this star Arcturus be brighter than the sun, but yet we can't see it when the sun is shining?
Lastly, can you help me figure out a way for me to get back to where I'm originally from? If so, I'll let you meet my mom and dad. ✨️

I would like to hear the story about the shepherd who protects bears. He's protecting the bears from the Canes Venetici, it looks like, but why doesn't he let the dogs loose to drive the bears away?

  • @naitsirc0

    • @learnthesky
      @learnthesky  9 месяцев назад

Arcturus is always circling Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, which are both represent bears. It appears to watch over or ‘guard’ these two constellations.
