Thank you for the video on Denab. It is very informative. I have come from India to San jose, USA couple of weeks back. I have been watching sky every night here and it is excellent time to watch Denab, and the triangle. Now with mobile apps it is easy to identify stars and constillations in the sky. And your videos give many other informations required to observe, study and enjoy night sky viewing.😊

I just recently discovered your channel and I really enjoy your videos! I thought perhaps you might find something interesting. The progressive rock band Rush has a song called "Cygnus X-1" on their1977 album "A Farewell to Kings". It is actually part one of a story, with part two occurring on their next 1978 album "Hemispheres". Part 1 basically occurs towards the end of part two. Part two (Hemispheres) is a sort of mythological description of man's battle between the heart and mind, the Apollo/Dionysus duality. Well, frustrated and lost in this unresolvable conflict, humanity decides to send forth an explorer to find the gods and the answers. Hemispheres brings us up to the point where the explorer sets out on a starship called "The Rosinante". The idea is that the explorer will attempt to reach the gods by way of the black hole of Cygnus X-1. Now the song Cygnus X-1 is about that particular journey. Its like one of those movies that opens with some huge climactic cliffhanger scene, only to take you back to the events leading up to it, and then show you the outcome. The later song Hemispheres is like the backstory and the conclusion, whereas the earlier song Cygnus X-1 is the cliffhanger. Sorry for the long winded intro, but here are the lyrics of Cygnus X-1 (the whole point here is it talks about the constellation of Cygnus and the star Deneb): "In the constellation of Cygnus There lurks a mysterious, invisible force The black hole of Cygnus X-1 Six stars of the Northern Cross In mourning for their sister's loss In a final flash of glory Nevermore to grace the night" [Part I 05:01-05:45] Invisible to telescopic eye Infinity, the star that would not die All who dare to cross her course Are swallowed by a fearsome force Through the void, to be destroyed Or is there something more? I live in Ann Arbor Michigan and went outside to catch the Arcturus star next to the Moon and watch the video on that. And I caught your video thereafter. Non radial pulsation: "A form of pulsation in which waves run in all directions across the star's surface, as opposed to spherically symmetrical expansion and contraction (radial pulsation). There are normally multiple periods, resulting in a complex pattern of nodes and antinodes over the surface." Simplistic explanation for something that must be hugely complex.
I've been using Deneb/Vega or Deneb/Caph as my alignment stars on my Eq6r pro mount this summer. Deneb has been so useful being its position and brightness.
A more interesting summer triangle is composed of Vega, Altair, and Rasalhague, in Ophiuchus. This is close to an isosceles triangle that is due south at midnight on the summer solstice and points upward. The winter triangle, Betelgeuse, Sirius, and Procyon, form a downward pointing isosceles triangle which is due south at midnight on the winter solstice. These two triangles are also close to being the same size and the same elevation and so, if overlapped, would form the star of David. Whenever I see this hexagram I think of the two celestial triangles and their relationship with the solstices.

We don't have that clear sky as you are showing. There are millions of stars in the picture you have shown. Wish we could see them in real. Im from India btw☺️🙏🙏
Deneb stands out because of it's sheer remoteness imagine how bright it would be if it was the Altair distance away!I was in a place a few years ago, Dubai,with brutal light pollution so bad I don't think that you could see Deneb but Vega and Altair just.Don't go if you want to stargaze!
There is another bright star called OB2 # 12 that would be as bright as Deneb if not for intervention of interstellar dust and is further then Deneb. If you were as close to Deneb as Neptune is to the Sun you would probably need welders safety goggles for a flash glance along with solar glasses to look at the Sun.
beautiful pictures, but i think if your goal is to teach people to find certain stars, and constellations you should use photos showing the sky as the human eye sees it.
The problem is finding those kinds of realistic pictures. After six years of doing these videos, I still struggle to find the kind of photos you are requesting.
Depending on where we live the night sky looks different for all of us. If you live in the northern hemisphere - look vertically up in August and the summer triangle and Cygnus are right there. But I can't see the milky way due to light pollution.
This evening as from 9 pm Vega was clearly visable at the nightsky, it was only at 9.45 pm that The summertriangle appeared in its all. Beautiful. I even found Albireo in Brussels nightsky aswell as at your place. (Btw beautiful kitten)🙏👌🪐🌏🌕✨

I live at latitude 41 south and Deneb just rises above the northern horizon in our late winter. Always make a point of viewing it when favourable.

Go into the desert and you can see the milky way. The desert is fabulous for seeing the sky.
