I love the excitement in your voice when you describe how you thrifted the finds, put in the effort to paint, put together like the cherub with the drop light, to create a unique decoration. The many intricate trinkets, frames, pictures, all your eye envisioned to create your special place to live. We all watched you gather most of these beauties and to see it all in one showing was a treat. I've seen a lot of thrift store decors that lack continuity and style, but you've managed to keep a consistent color scheme and overall look that works. Your home manages to look both cozy and elegant, and that's a talent. You are definitely a maximalist (I am too, but not a your level, lol) so I have to say that, as a retired cleaning professional that ran my own business for 27 years, I'm glad I don't have to clean your place. 😂 But it's obvious you take pride in your home and keep it very clean, so I'm sure you enjoy all your treasures and don't mind cleaning them at all.😊

My husband asked me what’s my favourite room in our house. I replied, “The front porch.” I know the porch is not technically a room but it’s my favourite part of the house because it's sunny and I'm surrounded by plants and flowers. I feel the same way about your Treehouse Terrace. Even though absolutely everything in your home is Pretty Princess, the terrace is where I want to hang out. 🌞

I love your style, and it's the black and white that really puts it over the finish line. The contrast between the girlie things and the hard edge black and white is great! Absolutely love your apartment. You’ve put black in perfect places with your thrifts adding to it. My cousins in San Antonio years ago were professional decorators for the wealthy and they used black extensively with touches of gold in their own home, and unexpected treasures. Y’all would have been good friends. I love your idea for decorating your pantry. I have a good size laundry room with built in cabinets and drawers. I’m 74 and my parents used the cabinets for my dads tools. I’ve opened up one original wall which is rock. Now I’m going to use the cleaned and painted cabinets as my pantry. I’ve been trying to figure out how to decorate it. You’ve given me some terrific ideas. I had a ramp built up into my kitchen. I had fallen twice going on steps with a load of laundry and my bad knee. My son and daughter in law insisted I needed it. Boy were they right. I really have more independence with the ramp. I do have a nice yard, deck, front porch, patio and pool. So I enjoy my plants and birds as you do. Next on my list will be a She Shed for use as a potting shed and a place for my tools to repair and paint thrifted furniture. I thoroughly enjoy your channel. Keep up the awesome content.💕🌸🦩😀

My husband & I have built many homes & now we are older & are down to one home & two buildings! The buildings are much like yours and we have gutted each unit ! Now landscaping ! We love it ! Love your house. Love your tour. You are truly inspiring. My house also is small, layered and loaded. Every once in a while I decide I have to thin down and I remove things here and there for a cleaner look. Then I go to someone’s house or watch an inspirational video😊 and out it all comes Along with stuff from a few new visits to the thrift store. In any case, you have created a marvelous home. I’d write more, but I have to take everything out from under my bed and do a little redecorating….Brooke inspired. ❤

I love it. My house is probably 85% Thrifted. I am a Blue& white China, Brass and basket girl, lots of artwork too in gold frames. Love the uniqueness.

Eclectic maximalism at its best. Love the harmony of elements and emphasis on animals and nature that you’ve incorporated into your delightful composition, one that ranges from Traditional to English and French Country to modern by use of the black, white, and rustic naturals. Incredible how you did all that by “thrifting”, that’s a real talent for design. I bet people would hire you to do that for them too. Even your “green thumb”, your plant kids look very happy and healthy.
Just one thing.... I once had an accident and got badly injured when some boards of a deck I stepped out onto (a $2M house too, you wouldn’t expect that) suddenly cracked. Water can erode the wood, nails can become displaced from subtle motion and vibrations, and boards can develop cracks without us realizing it. Please always make sure your deck is entirely safe and secure. God bless.

I would say it’s never done as I change things, but I was out of the country for 8 years so I would say 3 years . As I started over with furniture except my bed frame and 2 wicker chairs for my past snd my gf had them . 🍃💝

I usually watch these videos with amusement, because people can put together the STRANGEST things and call it "design"; while I'm over here standing on my HEAD, trying to figure out if they *meant* to hang/mount/stand it up THAT way... or if I need to put something other than sugar in my next cup of coffee!!
Your home is STUNNING!! Everything looks like it "belongs", even tho it is NOT all matchy-matchy. Your personality is Everywhere! Your family is Everywhere! It is obvious you lovingly chose EVERY item in your home with care. I love what you have done. While I cannot go to quite this extreme, I will take inspiration from this video! Thank you!
